At some point, many of us realize that the life we’ve built no longer fits the person we’re becoming.
This channel is about that moment.
I’m Caren, and I create videos for women in midlife who are searching for more peace, purpose, freedom, and authenticity.
Here we explore identity shifts, nervous system health, productivity without burnout, personal growth, relationships, aging, travel, and the messy, beautiful process of reinventing ourselves.
No perfection. No hustle culture. Just honest conversations about creating a meaningful life.
Subscribe and join me as we figure it out together.

Here's what I wish someone had told me years ago about ADHD friendships:
• Symptoms like inattentiveness, forgetfulness, and impulsivity create specific friendship challenges - from not paying attention during conversations to forgetting friends exist for weeks
• Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) and emotional regulation struggles lead to overthinking every interaction and assuming people are mad at you
• The tendency to overdo and overextend in relationships stems from feeling 'not okay as you are' and needing to work harder to match others
Executive function challenges mean you're likely not the friend who plans, organizes, or initiates social activities
As an ADHD coach, I see this pattern constantly:
Smart, capable people struggling not because they're doing something wrong, but because they're using tools designed for different brains.
In my latest video, I break down the ADHD-friendly approach to how adhd impacts friendships and relationships for adults, including specific challenges, personal struggles, and practical approaches to building healthier connections.
I hope it helps. https://youtu.be/64xssjBaPsQ

Ya'll keep asking HOW to get started on things. Not just the boring stuff, but the stuff you really want to do, but just can't seem to get started.
If that's you - watch this!

This isn't ambition. It's insurance against perceived inevitable failure.
But what if focus isn't just about productivity—what if it's actually about trusting yourself enough to go "all in" on what you really want?
Curious if this strikes a cord?

Here's the thing - no amount of courses and trainings are going to make "doing the thing" any easier - especially starting a business.
I coach so many ADHD entrepreneurs who simply can't seem to get themselves into action so they keep consuming and consuming more and more information.
If that's you, what would get you into action? Would you feel safer or more inspired doing it in a group? I'm thinking of starting an IMPLEMENTATION-focused coaching group. Just toying with the idea, but if you're interested - jot your name and email on this list. visiontoaction.notion.site/1a86480de42580778395ea5…

Hey ADHD'ers! 👋👋 I'd love to know how you self identify. I know all of us struggle in some ways due to ADHD, but I'm curious how you would describe yourself....

The Gap and the Gain is such a great read. It's a stark reminder that our happiness and life-satisfaction is largely a matter of perspective, and the more we focus on our progress and how far we've come, the farther we'll go.
This isn't woo-woo, btw. Research clearly shows that the more we stay in positive emotion, the more clarity, energy, focus and momentum we have to move forward and keep growing.
Very little can be gained from doubling down on how we're not measuring up to unrealistic expectations.

👋👋 Hey ADHDers!👋👋
I recently passed a big milestone here on youtube, and to celebrate, I'm going to do a Q&A.
Feel free to ask me anything related to ADHD, coaching, youtube, business, life - you name it. Please leave your questions below, and I will do my best to answer it.
Thank you for being a part of my growth here on Youtube. As someone who struggles with consistency, it's not easy to show up week after week, but the amazing energy of this community was a big reason why I was able to do it. Your support, comments, questions and views mean so much.
Thank you for being here!

**Quick head's up for my fellow ADHD entrepreneurs**
A lot of you have reached out seeking coaching support, but I'm still not in a place where I can take on new clients.
That said, I wanted to give you a head's up that *my* business mentors have opened enrollment for their coaching program (*only until Sept 10th*). This is not ADHD-specific, but it's very ADHD-friendly and I've gotten a TON of value from their coaching.
If you want to learn more about my experience with them, then you can read more here: itsadhdfriendly.com/waim-2/
