We Shall Never Forget. 🇺🇸

I was only four years old when 9/11 happened, but there are moments from that day that I still remember.

I remember being one of the last children picked up from school because my mother was a high school teacher and couldn’t leave her students. I remember our teachers crying as they turned on the box TV mounted in the upper-right corner of our classroom, watching something none of us could fully understand at the time.

My dad was hauling explosives for El Dorado Chemical in Hazard, Kentucky, that day. With no one knowing whether more attacks were coming or where they might happen, he had to be escorted back to the base.

Even at such a young age, September 11, 2001, left an impact on me that would help shape the direction of my life. It was one of the reasons I first wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement.

As I got older, I made a point to honor those we lost. I participated in the 9/11 Stair Climb at Eastern Kentucky University, and later did it again while attending the academy at DOCJT. Two years ago, my wife and I traveled to New York City and visited Ground Zero.

Standing there is something I will never forget. I truly believe it is something every American should experience at least once in their lifetime.

We must never forget what happened that day—not so that we carry hatred in our hearts, but so that we remember the lives that were taken, the heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away, and the ultimate sacrifices made by so many.

We remember every man, woman, and child who perished in the Twin Towers, aboard the planes, and at the Pentagon. We remember the first responders who gave everything trying to save people they had never met. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

September 11, 2001. Never forget.

May God bless those we lost, may God bless those who answered the call, and God Bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

Hey guys, we’re currently in the works of making a battle wagon for the channel. We’re almost done with it right now, but waiting on a few more things. There will be a video out on it when we get it done. That being said, I’d love to some how make every one of you all part of this build as well. We are hoping to cover the entire roof with Velcro patches. If you all have any cool or interesting patches you’d like to send in, please let us know!
