Rashan Balasooriya is a rising Music Producer, Remixer & Singer born in Sri Lanka in 2000, Rashan was inspired by international producers like KSHMR & ILLENIUM as well as the local producers like Yaka & Yuki Navaratne. Rashan Balasooriya aspires to create a unique musical identity for his own through his exceptional talent of producing elusive melodies, shaped by his own musical touch. He showcases his signature speciality as a young producer who blends EDM music with Sri Lankan traditional music.

He began his musical journey during his school years and commenced his career as a music producer in 2019, after completing a diploma in Sound and Music Technology at Music Oven Institute as well as Electronic Music Production at Hitbox Audio Tutoring. Currently, he is an undergraduate at Faculty of Science University of Peradeniya.

මැදියම රැයක ප්‍රේමණිය රැඟුමන් අතරේ, ආලෙන් බැඳුනේ මටවත් නොදැනීමය. පාට දේදුන්නක අතරමං කල නුඹේ මනබඳිනා රූපය, සිත් කළු සන්තානයකට මා ඇද දැමූවේ කාටත් හොරාය. මාවත් දිගේ ඇවිද සන්ද්‍යාවේ මා ලංවූයේ, ලවන් නුඹේ පුරා, රටා ලියා යන්නට පමණක්ම නොවෙම්ය. එම සිහිනය එසේ අවශේෂ වූවාට කම් නැත. ගියපු මග යලි හැරී ආපු දුර අප දැන දැනත්, තවත් නුඹ ලංවූයේ කිමද?
