The personal highlight on my birthday, 3rd August this year, was my visit to this place in Goa.
The kids are labourersβ children. When those labourers go for work, daily-wage jobs, construction sites, etc., they drop their kids at this NGO as they canβt afford a crΓ¨che. And 90% of these kids have never been to school, so this NGO teaches them free of cost and feeds them 2 times a day.
Few kids who have been abandoned by their parents are also part of this group. The NGO provides them free shelter as well.
I am sharing this moment from that 1 so-called day out of those 365 days in a year, and trust me, happiness could not have been multiplied by the count of each kid.
I wish them all the happiness in the world and more power and luck to their parents indeed.
Thank you for reading, everyone. β€οΈ

π Marking 2 Amazing Years on YouTube!
Today, Iβm completing 2 amazing years on YouTube, and honestly, I couldnβt be happier. β€οΈ
What makes this journey truly special is knowing that my content has helped many people crack interviews and clear important rounds.
Every time I receive a message saying:
βI cracked Wells Fargo/JPMC/HSBC rounds using your videos!β that becomes my biggest motivation to keep creating. π
The views, subscribers and numbers are great, but knowing that my knowledge helped someone achieve their career goal is the real reward. π
Cheers to 2 years of learning, sharing and growing together! π₯
I promise to keep giving more and more, and sharing whatever knowledge and experience I hold.
Happy Learning! ππ

LGD, Realized LGD & Adjusted LGD β Three Metrics, Three Perspectives.
π LGD β Expected loss at the time of default.
π Realized LGD (RLGD) β Actual loss after recoveries are completed.
π Adjusted LGD β LGD adjusted for downturn or stress scenarios.
In simple words:
β LGD = What we expect to lose
β RLGD = What we actually lose
β Adjusted LGD = What we may lose in adverse conditions
Understanding the difference is essential for credit risk modelling, provisioning, capital calculation, and model validation.

When you get demotivated, always remember:
You are more than your targets.
More than your appraisal rating.
More than the unread emails in your inbox.
Share this with people, For whom you actually care.

B2B vs B2C Credit Risk π€«
Many people think credit risk is just about checking whether someone will repay a loan. In reality, the assessment is very different for businesses and individual customers.
π’ B2B Credit Risk (Business to Business)
Evaluate companies instead of individuals
Focus on financial statements, cash flow, leverage, and industry outlook
Larger ticket sizes with fewer borrowers
Each default can have a significant financial impact
π€ B2C Credit Risk (Business to Consumer)
Evaluate individual borrowers
Focus on credit score, income, employment, and repayment history
Smaller ticket sizes but a much larger customer base
Decisions are highly automated using scorecards and machine learning
Key takeaway:
π B2B = Deep analysis of fewer, larger exposures.
π B2C = Fast, data-driven decisions for millions of customers.
Understanding this distinction is essential for anyone starting a career in Risk Management, Banking, or Financial Analytics.
What other credit risk topics would you like me to simplify next?
