In Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah says:
تِلۡكَ ٱلرُّسُلُ فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۘ
((Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. ))
A common question arises about the use of feminine pronouns with masculine nouns: like تِلْكَ with الرُّسُل. Is it a mistake? Not at all. This is simply how classical Arabic works.
