A new wave of malicious npm packages Impersonating Flashbots has been discovered, targeting Ethereum devs and stealing wallet credentials. The affected packages are:
@flashbotts/ethers-provider-bundle
flashbot-sdk-eth
sdk-ethers
gram-utilz
These packages can exfiltrate your private keys and mnemonic phrases to an attacker’s Telegram bot or email, and may even redirect transactions behind the scenes. Over 600 developers have already downloaded them — make sure you’re not affected!
🔒 What to do:
Immediately audit your projects for these package names
Remove and rotate any exposed wallets or credentials
Always double-check publishers and review code before installing new npm packages
