god the ending to atla has made me cry too many times. i've watched it 3 times and gonna move onto my 4th rewatch. i don't think a show can be as perfectly resolved as atla was. i'm sad i didn't watch it earlier, i only saw a few episodes here and there when i was much younger because my step sister watched it, but i'm glad i got to experience it and appreciate it now

More OC I love her so much. She's a kirin, I need name suggestions. Her hair is supposed to be sunset-cloud kinda thing and it will be simplified for animation if I choose to animate her. She's mostly based off of horse life although I don't actually have a kirin that looks like her on there. Trying to improve anatomy and colouring/colour palettes :)

Honestly I'm just not going to talk about or engage in proship and antiship discourse. It's all such dumb internet problems. I'm not even gonna call myself a proshipper anymore I'm just done with all of that, too black and white and toxic. Social media in general is genuinely ruining my mental health honestly. YouTube is the only safe platform for me because the only content I engage with on here is stuff I like, Reddit somewhat as well because I only engage with communities I like that are generally pretty small. Tik Tok, Instagram and Twitter you don't get much of a choice, the algorithms decide what you watch. Honestly I'm just so exhausted. 😣 I need to limit myself on other platforms. There are things I want to keep them for, and other than that I need to just stop scrolling. But the other thing is the anxiety I get. What if the second I delete Instagram is when all my friends decide they hate me and they vague post about me? Scary.

I hate when people say fiction does affect reality because it does and there have been studies that prove this 💀 and when you give them an example of fiction affecting reality they dismiss it but don't tell you why it doesn't apply. Just because it isn't a fanfiction doesn't mean it's not applicable to the argument, it's not "reading non-con will make you a rapist" it's "fiction affects reality." It objectively does. Otherwise how does propaganda work? Bigoted ideals portrayed in fiction that influence the consumer to taking in those ideals? Even just watching an episode of a show making you happy. It is a fictional thing having an effect on you and the real world. It's not a means for censorship but to act like it doesn't affect reality is just denial really.

Drawings for you all. First one is an ATLA inspired oc and the second is the DTA entry I did for Larare Bear (contest is still open, I recommend checking it out!)
My motivation to draw is coming back. At least since I had a shit ton of caffeine today. I also started watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's funny but I got bored and switched over to rewatching ATLA. I'm usually like that with new sitcoms, I can only watch a few episodes at a time with breaks in between. But I can rewatch them 50x and not get bored afterwards. I've watched The Last man on Earth 40-something times and I think it's about time I pick it up again. Anyway, that concludes my completely unrelated ramble about sitcoms.
