Grave Explorations

Hearing the news of the untimely death of Adam The Woo is devastating. It is because of him that Grave Explorations exists. For more than 10 years, his videos were a source of positivity, fun, and inspiration. I only wish I could have had the chance to know him personally. I send prayers to his family and his countless friends who are grieving his loss. Sleep well, Adam. 🙏💔

Grave Explorations

These are the dozens of rare press photographs that I acquired for my next video and they are only the tip of the iceberg of what you will see. One of the reasons I took on the project (coming on December 4th) was the remarkable visual record that I uncovered. Perhaps the only thing more remarkable is that virtually nothing has been written about it in more than 90 years. It is a vintage true crime noir set in Depression era Los Angeles that has been 7 months in the making. I am looking forward to sharing it with you all.

Grave Explorations

Hello, friends!

The next video will take us to Mendocino State Hospital for the criminally insane, a truly dismal place that was located near Ukiah, CA. There's not much of a photographic record of the facility which closed down in the early 1970's, but I found a stand in right in my own backyard. The first pic is of the real Mendocino State Hospital and the second is the stand in which is the old Orange County courthouse.

Stay well!

“The Mystery of Life”
This sculpture has long been away from public view, but recently Forest Lawn opened it up again. It’s quite impressive to see in person.

Grave Explorations

Dear friends,

I want to say how thankful I am to everyone who watched my first video after a LONG absence and for leaving so many wonderful and supportive comments. When I uploaded the video, I had no idea if anyone would still be here to watch, but I was pleasantly surprised (and shocked) that so many were here to welcome me back. I have always said that the Grave Explorations family is greatest, and I am looking forward to bringing you more content that I hope you will find informative and worthy of your time.

And to all of my new subscribers, Welcome! I am so happy that we found each other and that you enjoy our walks together.

❤❤❤

Sincerely,
Matt Inglima
