Hello, my name is Robin, and welcome to my channel. On this channel, I make hot wheels racing stop motions, mainly GT/Endurance racing stop motions. I hope you'll enjoy!
Team Renault Sport returns to the HW International GT Championship for season 3! They will be running the #01 Renault Sport RS01 in the GT Pro class. Unfortunately, this came with the news from Renault that this will be the final season of competition for their factory team, as the brand intends to focus more on their open wheel programs instead. This also affects Team Renault Sport's sister team: Alpine Sport, which will run in the GT4 class of the GT Cup International championship this upcoming season, meaning this will be the final chance for the #36 Alpine A110 Cup.
However, this does not mean it's the end of Renault and Alpine's presence across the HWIGTC and GTCI. They will still provide customer support for teams wishing to run their cars in the future. With the RS01 being a popular car among customer teams, it is fully expected the car will return in future seasons of the HWIGTC.
Liberty walk returns to the GTX class! The Japanese racing team, which previously competed in the GTX Class during season 1 of the HW International GT Championship, returns to compete in the first season of GT Cup International with their #12 Nissan GT-R.
Lotus Motorsport is expanding for 2026! Lotus's factory team will add the geen #55 car alongside the returning #59 car. The team will be looking to deliver Lotus its third consecutive GT4 title, after the #59 won the title in seaon 1 and the customer #09 won it in season 2.
Four more teams have announced their entry into this year's Toyota GR Cup championship! First up, it's two Dutch teams, this being Floower Motorzport with the #18 car, which also took part in last year's GR86 Cup test race, and TaroTurbo with their purple #69 car. Coming from the UK, it's the Spectres team, using the #21 car. And finally, coming from Singapore, Queen's Hivemind will be running the #83 "Bee car".
Fun fact: All four of these cars are based on friends from my personal life, who also helped design these cars.
Team Hot Wheels announces their 2026 plans! The American race team will enter the HW International GT Championship with two Mercedes AMG GT3s, the #68 and the #71. Both cars will be competing in the GT Am class. The team previously did a part season campaign in season 2, entering only the European rounds, where they managed to get a top 5 finish during the season finale. The team will be looking to add to this success during the coming season.
In addition to the HWIGTC, the team will also enter the GT Cup International, running the #22 Ford Mustang GT in the GTX Class. They will also participate in the Toyota GR Cup, using the #70 Toyota GR86.
Ford Performance expands yet again for the HW International GT Championship! The American team will add a third Ford GT, the #22, to their HWIGTC lineup, alongside the returning #16 and #17 cars. All three cars will be competing in the GT Pro class. Ford almost won the GT Manufacturers Cup title last year, losing out to Chevrolet by only 1 point at the end of the season. This is said to be the main reason the team decided to add a third car to their lineup. They will still face tough opposition from reigning champions Chevrolet, as well as many other returning and new manufacturers.
The team will also return to the GTX class, joining the first season of the GT Cup International series with the #18 Ford Mustang GT. This becomes the second Mustang confirmed for the full season, after the #19 Gulf Racing Mustang. More Mustangs are expected to be announced later on.
In the announcement, Ford also stated that this will be the final season of the Ford GT GTE, with a successor expected to be revealed at some point during the season.
Team Blackfire has announced its full-season plans for 2026! The Dutch team will return once again to the HW International GT Championship, running their two Renault Sport RS01s. The #19 RS01 will return, alongside the #129, which will once again race under the TyBlue Racing banner. Both cars will be racing in the GT Am class. The team will also participate in the new GT Cup International series, running the #30 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo in the GTX class. Alongside this, the team will join the Toyota GR Cup with two cars. They will run the #19 car under their own name, and the #99 car under the LionGP name.
Alongside this announcement, the team also indicated they're planning a return to the Christmas Endurance Cup in 2026, with more details on this to be announced at some point later in the year.
Hey everyone. With 2025 now over, and 2026 just starting, I thought it would be time to do another bit a channel update. First of all, happy new year! 2025 was one of the best years ever for this channel, as we went from around 500-ish subscribers to now almost 1000. 1000! When I first started out on youtube back in 2016, I honestly found it hard to imagine I'd ever get to 1000, yet we're almost there. It's honestly just insane to think about. I also want to say thank you for all the other ways people have supported my videos throughout this year, by either just watching, liking, or commenting under the videos. Especially the comments I really enjoy. Whenever I see another one appear, it always brings a smile to my face.
Now, what's next? Well, next up is even more stop motions, of course! I currently have 21 stop motions planned to be released, several of which have already been filmed. I don't know if I'll be able to do all of them, since I'm planning to move out of the country for part of the year (as part of the study I'm doing), and I won't have access to my cars there. But in the worst case scenario, I'll just move the final races to early 2027.
So which videos can you expect? First up, the HW International GT Championship will return with season 3. It will now feature the new Pro/Am format I announced back in the summer. The GTX and GT4 classes have been moved to the new GT Cup International series, which will run to the exact same calendar as the HWIGTC, with races being published one or two days before the main HWIGTC races. And of course there is the new GR Cup series, featuring only Toyota GR86 Cup cars. This series will feature a ton of customs, and is the one I'm personally most excited about, since most the customs I made for it are based on different aspects of my life, such as hobbies, friends, fellow youtubers, etc. And finally, there will be at least two standalone events. One of them will be the 2026 edition of the Christmas Endurance Cup, which has already been filmed, and will be published at the end of Christmas. The other one will be a race with a class that I haven't used yet (and technically doesn't exist in real life) which will be uploaded somewhere during February or March.
Anyway that's the 2026 update. I don't think many people read the entire thing, but if you did, I appreciate it. Thank you for a great 2025, and let's make 2026 even better!
QnA time! With the end of the year coming up, I thought it would be fun to do a little QnA for the start of 2026. Leave any question you'd like to ask, whether it's about my series, my cars, or just about me, anything goes.
If there are enough questions, I'll probably make a video for this QnA somewhere during the first few days of 2026. Otherwise I'll probably answer the comments under this post directly.
(Oh, and as a bonus, here's a picture of some recent customs)
