Almost overnight, as the idea of Filoni becoming Co-President was confirmed, completely fake and unsubstantiated rumours that "Filoni didn't like Andor" were spread by every 'unbiased' star wars news account I have the misfortune to see in my feed. Firstly, there is literally zero (0) evidence this is true, infact there is multiple interviews he has done praising Andor. Secondly, so what? Film is subjective.
We have already seen these fake star wars fans turn on Filoni and I am calling it now (so I can refer back to this later when it inevitably happens) that people will blame him for there not being another show like Andor. Anyone who has looked at the facts on this knows that Andor cost $700=+ million for 24 episodes and when streaming is winding down across the board Disney will simply not take that risk again.
Filoni was the architect of the Clone Wars, chosen by George Lucas to do so. I have always and will continue to place great faith in him and am very much looking forward to the years ahead with him at the creative helm of Lucasfilm.
