Out of morbid curiosity, would anyone be interested in me making an actually timely video for once to comment on the recent Homestuck cartoon news? I don’t know that I have anything extremely profound to say on the matter, but I probably have enough thoughts to throw together a short video (like maybe 20 mins max).

Hello friends, I realize that it's been a long time since my last video, but I just uploaded another cover from the Homestuck fan musical. It turned out pretty great, so I'd love if you could give it a listen. I also figured that I'd give some updates on the channel since it's been a Hot Minute.
So what have I been doing the past few years? Mostly, writing a lot of music. I know it doesn't seem that way from the amount of music I've actually released since I last posted, but I have tons of partially finished tracks in the works right now. It's just that making music, especially when you're teaching yourself all of the ropes, is a very lengthy process. The Homestuck album is still on the table, but I've also been working on an album about Baldur's Gate 3 (which started as a joke and is no longer a joke lol). However, importantly last year I finally upgraded my laptop and bought actual music production software, which now makes music production 1000% easier. I realize now that trying to make music on GarageBand using a laptop from 2011 with 4GB of RAM was certifiably insane.
I'm still learning the ins and outs of Logic Pro, and I have a lot to figure out with vocals mixing and mastering. As such, I think there's a good chance that before you get more original music, you'll probably get some more covers because it stresses me out less if they're not perfect. Still, I started a Tumblr to give myself a place to talk about the incremental successes in music since a) the whole process is such a slog and I think it would help me to have a place to report on "yay one thing went right today" and b) I thought it might be interesting for you to see why making a few minute long song takes so long. I'm also working on scripts for a few analysis videos, but I have no idea when they'll be done. There's a less serious video and a more serious video about Baldur's Gate 3 in the works. I also want to do a video about one of the seasons of Dimension 20 that gave me brainworms. But most importantly, I would love to finally conquer my Mount Everest, starting a series on the TV show Reign. I know that might sound like it's coming out of nowhere, but my friends ... I have so much to say about Reign. Reign is literally occupying a place in my brain similar to Pathologic where my friends and family are becoming tired of me talking about Reign, so instead I will force all of you to listen to me talk about Reign.
At any rate, hearing support and/or excitement for any of the above is emotionally boosting. Thank you all for watching my channel, and I wish us all a wonderful 2025!

Since it’s been a while, I thought I’d post here to inform people that I’m still alive and still working on content behind the scenes. A particular Homestuck musical project that I decided to embark on earlier this year has spun wildly out of control, and I’m now scrambling to try and complete as much as I can by next Homestuck day.
Yes, I realize April 13th is five months away. Yes, that should give you an idea of the absurd amount of work I’ve decided to place on myself for literally no good reason.
At any rate, if you have any recs for Actually Good Homestuck fanfics that I can read to slow down my brain rot caused by Homestuck overexposure and Bad Fanfic, please let me know in the comments!
