!!! spoilers for season 15 !!!

so let’s talk about that ending.

I just uploaded a little music video commemorating 15 seasons of SPN and TFW. I do have a longer, non-music video I’m working on that includes more scenes you guys suggested—btw, thanks to everyone who suggested moments and scenes to use, I really appreciate it <3

I’m gonna be honest, creating this video ended up being a lot harder than I anticipated, for reasons I did not expect. I finished most of it before 15x20 and coming back to it after seeing the final ending really hurt. I had left so many notes like, “leave room here for clips of the dean/cas reunion”, “put ep20 clips of happy tfw here.” I was so sure cas would come back, so sure this finale would give the characters at least somewhat of an ending they deserved. I was wrong.

in short, I’m really hurt and pissed off by the way this show ended and how these characters got screwed over. But... I also still love this show and these characters, and that will never change. This ending may suck, but we have 15 years of good scenes and memories and, for my sanity, I focused on those good moments in this video.

objectively, I can try to appreciate some 15x20 moments if I don’t think about the wider context and how much I miss tfw 2.0 (and every other friend the winchesters made along the way). If anything, this ending really hammered home that dean and sam are still best friends, they have the strongest brotherly bond, and that will never change. And that’s one thing I’m happy has stayed true through this whole show.

just bc this show is over does not mean I will be going anywhere. I still have tons of ideas and video suggestions from you guys that I’m excited to work with :)

case in point, I will be creating a video making fun of the spn final episodes bc that’s how I cope, along with other videos not related to the ending, so stay tuned. and feel free to share your thoughts about the ending :)
