I use this channel to upload old VHS Clips & Recordings from VHS tapes I am able get a hold of. Majority (for now) are from the 80s & 90s & 00s. Some from 2010s.
(Poor quality may be from old TimeShift tapes.)
Clips are from various sources. Clips include many rare local commercials. Mainly focused on Channel 6 WRGB. Others include NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS, etc.
Personal Profile (w/ 1995 Commercials)
(Obviously I do not own all these clips.)
Uploaded For Archival Purposes. This is a hobby of mine.

Happy New Years! & Public Domain Day! It has been a slow 6 months on here for me, moving & getting a new job my schedule has adapted as such. I try to upload here as often as I can, I have about half a tape to do left then i'll be sure to record by to 480p I don't like the DVD recorder "upscale". Thanks everyone for their patience & of course their interest in old commercials. Never thought I would reach 2k followers with such an account, I'll try to create a new 2k followers banner update soon. Need to celebrate some how... Anyways keep watching & here is the link to Public Domain Day Info & Works: web.law.duke.edu/cspd/publicdomainday/2023/ Enjoy!

Finally working on another tape, been focused on the new job honestly. 1992 this tape seems to be recorded in, the Disney special very static poor quality however after that the tape seems in better standing overall, will slowly start uploading again a couple a day now that I got things figured out, ALSO big difference is since my vista laptop died on me (GPU) I use a DVD recorder to plug in the Sony VCR for stabilizing and up-scales the picture. So posts will be that way for at least this tape, I will likely see how to simply use a 480p resolution if possible, my Video wire for the RCA cables doesn't work well with anything over windows vista...

Also another update, last week Carmie passed away ( She was 8 & I am heartbroken) so no more bunny live streams with public domain movies, possibly continue with public domain streams occasionally but I'll either play video games or something in the corner during said streams. I'll miss her a lot & she was the star of those streams, if I do continue there will be a new playlist made for said public domain streams. Thank You Everyone!

Going forward going to try to upload something weekly, working on, well work, & also looking to move soon so lots going on & clipping commercials is going to start taking a backseat to most everything else. I encourage everyone to check out my personal channel which more likely just to stream random games on or my archive twitter account (unrelated to Vault 27). Enjoy! & Thanks everyone for the subs & support! @SamsVHSVault27 twitter.com/SamsArchive @SamsArchive
In the meantime I am going to try and focus on digitizing a few tapes so when I do have the time i can just clip & upload them slowly. (I keep adding to existing playlists by airing year)

Well I haven't had the time this year to upload & clip as much. Some days I spend organizing tapes and said digital files, some tapes don't have the commercials. (honestly most don't, viewed as a waste of tape space back in the day.) So I have been working on few random ones off a QVC tape. & before people ask more, yes I upload clips but not all of them, for example basically any late show clips I have tried those get flagged, longer the tape/clip more likely I am going to get a flag at least I hope, sick of no warning & getting strikes from YouTube.
Anyways, hope everyone is enjoying this channel & the year so far..
