🅰: I’ve been herping for 40+ years 🧙♂️, Nicholas 👨🎓for 20+ years.
🆀: Have you ever been bitten by a snake?
🅰: Yes. A ton with non-venomous snakes, never by a venomous snake. 🤞
🆀: Favorite food while herping?
🅰: Roasting hotdogs 🌭over the campfire🔥, adding sauerkraut, hot peppers and special Smetlogik spices.
🆀: Favorite place to herp?
🅰: Arizona and Mexico for Rob. Thailand, AZ and Mexico for Nicholas.
🆀: Favorite herp trip so far?
🅰: Hands down the 2008 trip back to my hometown where I grew up in SW Arkansas. 💯
🆀: Favorite find ever?
🅰: Brown Vinesnake in AZ. Sometimes the hardest ones to find end up being the best. 🎯

This popped up in my behind-the-scenes YouTube stuff. Pretty cool to see the videos I've liked over the years. Trying to do my part to give back over the years. Figured out this is one👍 every single day for the past 13.7 years. A lot of these are nature and herping channels. Folks supported me along the way, gotta give back.

Knocked out a few lifers this week and got to hang out with my buddy, Joe Farah. Been a while, was good to herp with him here in AZ and his buddy, Micah. Kinda crushed it. Check out Joe's IG (mrjoefarah) and Micah's IG (areptile_dysfunction). The sandsnake has been a PIA for us, walking washes day after day, flipping and finally Nicholas spotted one just hanging out one night. The other lifer? We found last night, it was cool. Stay tuned for my vid with Joe and other cool things we've been finding.

We were supposed to get a little rain from the snow storm headed for my old home state of Colorado. Got some good rain and 2-3" of snow. Much needed! It was super dry, but this should get things moving when it heats up later this week. Have quite a few videos in the works, some adventures planned. 2021 is going to be interesting. Thanks for taking the time to hang on my channel when I post.

Crazy few weeks here in AZ. Took a trip with 2 good friends and found some cool herps. Went back out for round 2 and hit a big rock which left us stranded late at night with a big hole in the oil pan. Just got back from round 3 that produced some very cool herps and a few setbacks. Pictured below is one of our round 3 finds, a Ridge-nosed rattlesnake (Crotalus willardi willardi), the state reptile of AZ. We hiked at least 30 miles in 4 days this last go around. Round 4 coming up this week with a good friend, round 5 is around the corner, not sure where we'll head for that one. Stay tuned.
