🚨 THE KVA VS. WATTAGE TRAP: Why Your Inverter Screams "OVERLOAD!" 🛑

⚡ 1. The Inductive Surge Multiplier
A standard 1.5 HP traditional Air Conditioner draws about 1,200 Watts while running smoothly. But the split second that mechanical compressor kicks on from a dead stop, it has to break massive physical friction. It demands an instantaneous startup surge of 3x to 5x its running power! That 1,200W AC suddenly spikes to over 4,500+ Watts for a few crucial seconds. If your inverter capacity isn't sized for the peak surge, it instantly triggers a protective system shutdown.

🔋 2. The 80% Lithium Rule
Are you draining your batteries to zero? Doing that to chemical cells immediately causes irreversible degradation. If you are running premium LiFePO4 Lithium batteries, you must maintain a strict 80% Depth of Discharge (DoD) limit. Restricting daily operations to 80% preserves the cells, giving you over 6,000 continuous cycles—meaning your battery bank will easily last 10+ years! (If you're using Deep Cycle Gel or Lead-Acid, your safe limit is even lower at 50%!).

🔌 3. The Thin Cable Throttling Trap
You can have the best battery bank on the market, but if your installer used thin, long DC cables, the high line resistance drops system voltage under heavy loads. The inverter misreads this drop as a dead battery and shuts down entirely. Always insist on heavy-gauge, pure copper lines (at least 35mm to 50mm) kept as short as possible.
