Your job title is only one part of your story.

Before I became a founder, author and systems builder, I was answering customer calls, installing cables, managing inventory, coordinating technicians, handling purchasing and working with technical equipment.

At K Tel, I started as a Secretary / Assistant Technician and became the first female cable technician in Trinidad.

At Royal Castle, I improved inventory systems and created SOPs.

At Coca-Cola, I managed technical assets, including chillers and post mix equipment, while improving the systems around the work.

Then came YES, Roll Ice Cream, CRM systems, automation, workflow design and regional business development.

Looking back, the connection is much clearer.

The titles changed. The pattern didn't.

I was building systems long before I had the language to describe myself as a systems builder.

Now you are managing forex access, bank limits, wire transfers, forms, invoices and multiple accounts just to complete a transaction that everyone involved already wants to happen.

This is the part of international business that does not always make it into the conversation.

For many Trinidad businesses, the challenge is not finding customers or suppliers. It is navigating the gap between earning in TTD and paying into a global system that often requires USD.
