It’s official! Or is it?! The standard for spot price used by dealers and companies everywhere to calculate prices is KITCO but GOOGLE shows gold at 4k! And silver at 48.24 which do you guys prefer to use when looking at spot prices?

To those of you who know a bit of geology, and are rock hounds, could you tell me what kind of rock this is or if it is a meteorite as it is magnetic and weighs heavier than it should it also passes the streak test on unglazed porcelain. The specks are shiny metal like specs with some that like like quartz or diamonds? It also has a burned side to it which is glassy and one side that isn’t as well as some other features. I hope it a meteorite but I also don’t because of the way I cut this thing I might have hurt it’s value 😅
