Welcome to the Solo Sue Travels channel, where I share my experiences as a solo traveler for both pleasure and business travel. I am on the West Coast of the United States (Northern California specifically) so I go on trips when possible leaving from the west coast. I post largely on cruising and all-inclusive land resorts, but also the occasional road trip to interesting places that are close enough for a drive. People hesitate to travel when they don't have someone to travel with. I think we should normalize solo traveling for both business and leisure. Come along with me and see how much fun solo travel can be.

Hello Travelers,
In August of 2023, I did my first full transit of the Panama Canal with Princess cruises. It was a 19 day cruise, the longest I had been on to date.
I ran across this exhibit in the cafeteria of the Statue of Liberty museum. It was outside some of the gift shops and there was a little cafe as well, and this was set up in the hall outside. I thought it was kinda fun, and so I’m sharing it with you as a community post.
Please like this video and subscribe to my channel to make sure you don’t miss future content. I have more videos for this cruise, as well as future cruises booked through the rest of this year and beyond. Thanks for watching!

While on the Royal Princess, I attended a workshop on doing improv that I thought people might enjoy.

Recently I was making a video about taking BART between the San Francisco cruise port and the San Francisco airport (SFO). While at the airport, in the International Terminal, I was able to view two of their exhibits. This is one of those, and shows some of the place settings used on flights between the 1960s and the 1980s. The place settings are fun to see, but I really enjoyed the pictures at the bottoms of the exhibits. Oh how flying has changed over time!

I ran across this wonderful exhibit on my way to baggage claim at San Francisco Airport in September, and wanted to share. The flight video just posted, and this was such a lovely exhibit.

In Nassau on the Carnival Celebration, I visited the Atlantis Hotel and water park complex. Part of that is a marina where several very nice yachts were berthed. I was able to walk around for a bit and get some footage of all the pretties. Enjoy!

The Celebration has a unique show that is projected onto the "windows" on Deck 6, right above Emeril's and the Lattitudes Bar. I thought you'd enjoy seeing the show.

While we were waiting for the Carnival Celebration to sailaway, several ships sailed past us, did a turnaround, and headed out to sea. This is a timelapse of the NCL Sky's turnaround.

Yes, in a fit of brilliance, I sat my GoPro down and walked away. Have you ever lost anything of value on a cruise?
