I tied for 5th place and received the award for best use of depth and space at the Dallas Aquashella Fluval Aquascape Live Competition. Creating an aquascape among other aquarists was a great experience. I would definitely compete again someday. Thank you, judges, and everyone who made this happen! How cool that I got to meet Araki Diachi and MJ Aquascape and the great ryno scaper Ryan Noel.

Lou Aquascaping
Yesterday i did an aquascape workshop for our local Aquascape Group. It went very well, i hope i was able to inspire and teach something to the beginners.
I asked Luis Navarro if he could share some wisdom for the beginners. 'Aquascaping it’s a passion embrace it and learn, but don't forget the basics a little knowledge goes a long way.'
