Across the country, hedgehogs and other wildlife are quietly losing their homes as fields, hedgerows and green spaces disappear to development. 🦔🙏💚
Places they’ve lived for generations are suddenly gone, leaving them with fewer places to shelter, feed and move safely. But there is something simple we can all do to help....
Our gardens can become lifelines. A small hole in a fence — a hedgehog highway — can reconnect gardens and give hedgehogs access to food, shelter and mates. Leaving a wild corner, providing water, avoiding slug pellets, and checking before strimming or lighting bonfires, all make a huge difference.🦔🐾❤️

Together, garden by garden, we can help make sure hedgehogs still have somewhere to call home. 🦔🏡💚

Please look out for wildlife whilst driving 🦔🐇🐿🐦⬛ 🚗 especially in more rural areas, but remember wildlife can pop up just about anywhere!
Wildlife was here before humans invented cars and they have as much right to be here as we do!
Please be considerate on the roads 🙏
Hedgehogs will make up from hibernation in the coming weeks, so let's be patient and kind whilst they're travelling looking for that first meal after winter hibernation 🦔🦔🦔
