The LEGEND ANTHOLOGY just started, so what will you be playing this time around?

There are quite some powerful handtraps available this time around (e.g., Veiler, Imperm, Mulcharmies, Nib - No Maxx "C" and Ash though), meaning that you'll likely need to play a deck that can withstand some interrupts. Decks that are likely good this format are:
- Blue-Eyes (only has some limits)
- Millennium Exodia (is limited slightly more than last year when it was the nr.1 deck by far)
- D/D/D with some new support (expect to see this a lot, especially when people got into the newest selection pack)
- Chimera (pretty much fully available with the exception of Nightmare Apprentice)
- Lunalight
- Gem-Knight (two deck that can clear fields easily)
- Resonators / RDA (we already got 1 deck for free)

Cognitive Grub 0 - Master Duel: Meta & Mechanics

🎄Small channel update!🎄

For this Christmas, I wanted to give you guys something a little different. A project I’ve hesitated to make for a long time, despite having the idea for a while.

It is much more of a general guide to playing the game we all love: Yu-Gi-Oh! (and its digital variant, Master Duel). Since I’ve relied on a robot voice for so long, this video should feel different. Please bear with me as you listen to my true, monotone, and heavily-accented voice for the first time! I just hope it doesn’t take away from the message I want to convey.

In the end, gaming is about fun, and Yu-Gi-Oh! is no different. I’d like to present 6 HABITS that I’ve incorporated into my play over the past few years that have made the game so much more enjoyable for me. My hope is that when you adopt these same habits, you’ll get more out of the game too.

Master Duel's newest selection pack - Aerial Superiority - arrived!

This pack has support for:
- Dracotail (heavy meta contender)
- Artmage (rogue, I think)
- Odion (meta/rogue)
- General fusion support

Whilst Artmage and Dracotail seems to receive the brunt of the UR's, Odion is surprisingly cheap.

Also, do not forget that today the new banlist goes into effect, so remember to dismantle your Archlord Krystia's and Maliss Red Ransom's for some additional dust!

Lastly, next Friday - December 12th - we will post another Meta Analysis update. So stay tuned for that, especially with the Duelist Cup that is about to start!

Yes, another new box so close to another and this will will be meta defining. So close to the next DC Cup too, so if you have the funds, it is likely a good investment. Either way, 12 December we'll release a new Meta Analysis, so you know what to expect on ladder and on the December DC Cup!

Konami just announced another mid-season selection pack for Master Duel - The End of Guilt!

What are you looking forward to the most?


It is expected to have support for:
- Snaky-Eyes
- Azamina (so maybe also White Forest)
- Eldlich
- Trap support
- and much more

This pack is similar in nature as Beat the Boss Rush, meaning that meta influence is usually somewhat limited, but perhaps this set includes a big one (we all remember Promethean Princess' introduction in such a pack 2 years ago).

This pack is scheduled to be released Tuesday November 25.
