Thanks for allowing us to reach a remarkable number - 1M views 🎉! A number I never thought we could reach, but nevertheless here it is.

I am aware that I've been posting less and less lately, mostly due to being busy with work and personal life. However, I am working on an application that will allow you to easily share and simulate your decklists in order to get the best version of your deck possible. I have been using it to streamline my own decks, and (in due time, hopefully sooner than later) will happily share it with you guys, so... Stay tuned!

What are you looking forward to the most?


Konami just announced the scheduled release of Master Duel's newest selection pack. It has new archetypes and support for:
- K9
- Live Twin
- Vanquish Soul
- Junk
- Borrel/Rokket
- and more (probably)

They also announced that K9 Jokul will be an UR and be limited to 2 upon release.

Do keep in mind that it will also be Master Duel's 4th anniversary, so more cards, packs and campaigns will be added! 5 February will be the release of all these cards.

What do you think about Konami's changes to the list (details below)?

So Konami bestowed another ban-/limit list update upon us and this time mostly releasing old favourites (Yubel, Blue- and Snake-Eyes), it also limited the roach (Maxx "C") to 1, banning Ryzeal Cross and already pre-hitting Vanquish Soul, meaning that VS will likely be in the next selection pack.

- Maxx "C" -> 1
- Vanquish Soul Raven -> 2
- Stake Your Soul -> 2
- Vanquish Soul Jiaolong -> 2
- Phantom of Yubel -> 3

The LEGEND ANTHOLOGY just started, so what will you be playing this time around?

There are quite some powerful handtraps available this time around (e.g., Veiler, Imperm, Mulcharmies, Nib - No Maxx "C" and Ash though), meaning that you'll likely need to play a deck that can withstand some interrupts. Decks that are likely good this format are:
- Blue-Eyes (only has some limits)
- Millennium Exodia (is limited slightly more than last year when it was the nr.1 deck by far)
- D/D/D with some new support (expect to see this a lot, especially when people got into the newest selection pack)
- Chimera (pretty much fully available with the exception of Nightmare Apprentice)
- Lunalight
- Gem-Knight (two deck that can clear fields easily)
- Resonators / RDA (we already got 1 deck for free)

The Apical Predators is scheduled to be released in about 2 days (January 8th) together with the Christmas ban/limit list. Do keep in mind, 2 of Yummy's cards got semi-limited before release.

Cognitive Grub 0 - Master Duel: Meta & Mechanics

🎄Small channel update!🎄

For this Christmas, I wanted to give you guys something a little different. A project I’ve hesitated to make for a long time, despite having the idea for a while.

It is much more of a general guide to playing the game we all love: Yu-Gi-Oh! (and its digital variant, Master Duel). Since I’ve relied on a robot voice for so long, this video should feel different. Please bear with me as you listen to my true, monotone, and heavily-accented voice for the first time! I just hope it doesn’t take away from the message I want to convey.

In the end, gaming is about fun, and Yu-Gi-Oh! is no different. I’d like to present 6 HABITS that I’ve incorporated into my play over the past few years that have made the game so much more enjoyable for me. My hope is that when you adopt these same habits, you’ll get more out of the game too.
