I know my recent video was in an odd view format for a longer video but I was testing it to see if I could eventually do an on course video, with the Garmin R10. That way I don't need 2 phones/cameras. I can capture the screen and show my swing this way.

It's funny when I get some stupid comment about my swing and strong grip. They think they are doing something, poking fun. I called this channel (and my username), "cringeworthy golf" for a reason! 😅😅 Do they not understand what cringeworthy means? I am not out here trying to be a pro or even good! I'm here to have fun and maybe lend a little light hearted comedic relief to this great, but drive you crazy game I love to play, called golf!

The Cringeworthy Golfer

In case you didn't know, for Christmas I got a new computer. One that is able to handle the work load of a 4k video editor. I tried a few different editors and settled on Cyberlink PowerDirector. It's not as fancy as Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve but it fits my budget easier.

Anyways! I have been editing this one video for a while now, trying to work out the kinks. But it doesn't matter what I do to it though, my golf is still pretty cringeworthy! 😜

It's a 4 person scramble with my daughter and her two friends, just like with one of my most recent videos, playing from the reds in Sonora, except it's from the white/blue tees. It's actually video of the 1st 9 holes we played. And like that one, I had to remove the sound because the background music coming from a Bluetooth speaker was too loud and would get a copyright strike and be removed anyway. But, with the video software I am using, I have dubbed in sound effects of club strikes, background noise and ambiance, and an annoying narrator with a British accent. It actually took a lot of work to do it but I am learning still.

So hopefully pretty soon I will be uploading it. But be warned, the golf is still really cringeworthy!

If you have been waiting on the part 2 video of the 5 Mulligans, I have had some things come up and haven't been able to get to it yet. I am also thinking about redoing it because of some glitches in the recording. I some how switched off my mic on the last few holes and it was mainly suppose to have included sort of a review. I just got those mics recently and I am not use to all the settings yet. Anyway! I am going to try and get it up before the coming weekend. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Uploaded this video once already and noticed some messed up txt but now it's back up!

It was fun playing with these two again and having the family all together out there. And even though the golf was "cringe" at times, I really liked this course! Thank you to OSO Beach Municipal for the great service!
