Hey there everyone, hope your holiday season is going well. Finally got most of my problems sorted out, and I hope the Sanabi DLC filler video was decent enough as a holdover in the meantime. Thanks to everyone for worrying and even more to the ones who helped out. It means the world.

Truth be told, I'm not sure what proper video to make for this month. So much happened that I didn't really have time to plan things ahead of time, and the ideas I did have fell through for one reason or anohter. So I guess askes succinctly;

What would you like to see for the final video of the year? I feel like I blew my best holiday idea last year but who knows. Any topic you'd like me to cover? A specific game or series? Maybe something less specific like last years? I'd love to hear your ideas.

With that said, I hope the christmas days go well for you all. I'll be seeing you all again after, either with a new video or in the new year. Cheers.

Hey there everyone,
I know I know, this is going to sound really gross so I'll keep it brief;

The other day my grandmother got robbed, and I wanted to help her, so I ended up spending most of my income. I was intending to save it up to buy new parts for a computer so games in my videos can finally start looking and running like they are supposed to, and not like how the Silent Hill f video looked. However my family is way too important for me and so I just had to pick priorities.

Friends have helped me out a lot already, and so I'm only about 50 bucks off from getting the new parts into a bootable state, but getting that is going to be hard on my own due to this whole situation. If you would like to help out then any sum would be amazing and I couldn't thank you enough.

Update: I just got into a car accident so money is going to be even tighter now. Any donations are going into helping me get out of this situation

Silent Hill f
9/10

Women get treated no differently than animals.
The narrative is fantastic and excellently told cohesively throughout the 4 different main endings, making it an easy second place behind SH2 (which just wins by virtue of being the greatest story ever put in a video game), the environmental and audio design are phenomenal, the music is excellent and the monster designs are beautifully grotesque. This is a game that despite being so wildly different from every game prior to it, fully understands what Silent Hill truly is in a way not seen since 4 (barring Shattered Memories). My only real gripes with it are the puzzles, which vary wildly in their quality, and the combat which, even if the game does surprisingly go somewhere with it, never feels quite right, since you're always completely overpowering any enemy you face, taking away the tension of their presence almost entirely.

So Youtube has apparently decided to no longer recommend my last video from 3 days ago to anybody, nor make it show up in subscriber feeds, which is honestly just great stuff. This basically forced me to make this community post, so if you feel like it, feel free to check it out. It's about a bunch of really weird mid-2000s phone games. It actually ended up my most editing intensive video to date so I hope it came out well enough. Ive also been informed that seemingly theres this new feature called "Hype" where you can "hype up" a video, which directly affects how well it performs or something? I've never actually seen it myself but uh, if you like it feel free to click that, I guess? Yeah that's about all I had to say for now. Cheers.

Hey there everyone, just a quick heads up;

I originally planned to make 2 proper videos this month but I have no idea if I'll be able to pull that off since I've got a whole other non video project in the works on the side I need to do stuff for and also this next vid is shaping up to be my most editing intensive one to date. I say this because I've been at it all day and barely got 10 minutes done, and you wont even be able to tell lmao. Still, I hope to get it done this week. In the meantime; Wow that last Nintendo Direct was atrocious lmao. At least a Project Zero 2 remake is an interesting prospect, too bad it's clearly based on the Wii version.

I also recently played through Hollow Knight Silksong, my text review speaks for itself I think haha. Honestly I have so much to say about it and the first game, but I do kinda wanna make a video about that and how I think those games genuinely ruined modern metroidvanias. That was actually my plan for the second video this month but we'll see how that goes.

And have some more text reviews for good measure.

Another update, I know it's annoying but it's important;

I don't know if I'll even be able to make a video for next month. Turns out when I had to suddenly stop streaming at one point cause of severe backpain, that wasn't backpain. I'm currently on off being hospitalized for Kidney Stones. Video production will resume once things with my body go back to normal. Sorry about this. If you have any videos youd like to see in the future do let me know though

Video games?

This is just a quick update letting yall know that I'm gonna be pretty damn busy this month so I really don't know if I'll have the time to get a video out. Production is pretty much completely off the table until the 19th and while I definitely could make a video in those 2 weeks in theory, I don't wanna rush things so I won't make any promises. Instead I'd like to ask what you'd like to see more of in the future, cause my main three video types of are single game Reviews, Series Retrospectives and of course the grab bags. I really enjoy all 3 and am always glad to introduce people to new stuff they wouldn't have come across otherwise so it made me super happy to see the Saturn video do as well as it did. If you've got any requests or suggestions for future videos please do let me know I'd love to hear them.

Recently I found myself in the mood to replay Sakura Wars 3, which to this day remains one of my alltime favorite video games. Ended up doing just that (and then also replaying its weird murder mystery sequel spinoff thingy) and it's made me realize something. So please, indulge me in this little monologue;

This year will mark the 5th anniversary of my original Sakura Wars video. That video legitimately changed the trajectory of this channel and it remains one of my favorites despite all of its flaws because of that. It was the first "franchise retrospective" type video I ever made and that's basically become my main thing ever since. And it being on Sakura Wars, a series that is very near and dear to me, made it something I was truly passionate about. I mean, hell. My channel banner is still just a screenshot from SW3 and I doubt I'll ever change that. Unfortunately that video is borderline impossible to go back to. The editing is awful, my voiceover is terrible, I gloss over practically everything that isn't the main games in a way that I've honestly really come to regret, and so much more. Ultimately I've come to a decision;

My longterm goal for this channel is that, once I feel I have grown enough of an audience and my videos have reached a level of quality I can truly say I am happy with I want to remake all 4 of my SW videos as one big in-depth project, giving everything I glossed over a proper thorough review and correcting any slip-ups that came in along the way (I distinctly remember mispronouncing Kayama as Kamiyama. Those are two completely seperate characters in the franchise). Those videos I believe represent every major part of my growth as a creator and I want to be able to reach a point where I can finally say I can put a bow on it, as it were.

Other than that I would like to thank everyone for sticking around for my poorly edited ramblings about games nobody cares about. It truly means the world to me and I couldn't be happier. These videos were always just an outlet for me to share thoughts I doubted anyone would ever care for and the fact that anyone at all ended up not only watching them but also enjoying them was something I never would've anticipated. So truly, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you. And I wish you all a wonderful morning, day, evening or night. Cheers.

Currently in the editing phase for the next vid. I think this is gonna be a fun one. Unfortunately I just got hit with this super awesome e-mail. Talked with some friends and at this point I think I just need to stick to niche and commit to it as much as I don't want to. What do you guys think should be my "main thing"? Because honesty I've got no idea. Till now I've been doing what I feel like when I feel like it but I guess all that gets me is YT up my behind.
