hello everyone! i have been absent for a super long time because i have started a new chapter in my content creation journey, and now is the time where i am sure enough of it that i want to share it with you.
first of all, a big thank you to EVERYONE who watched, liked and commented on my videos. it was really fun to make content i enjoy and to see people engage with it the way you guys did. i have dabbled with content creation here and there before and there has always been one problem that caught up to me, and unfortunately this channel is no exception of that: tailoring a channel to one specific topic backs you into a corner, making it easy for you to get burnt out.
i am a person with fluctuating hyperfixations, many different interests and weird rushes of motivation. so when i made this channel, i was in the middle of one of those. i really enjoyed playing genshin, consuming genshin content, and i was all over it. but over time, i lost that spark. i still play genshin but much less frequently and mostly for the main story at this point.
i apologize for the lack of uploads and the lack of updates, but at some point i just felt a bit discouraged with this channel. i wanted people to watch and like me for me, the person making the videos, and not necessarily what the video is about. unfortunately though, my more original ideas that weren't "i built this character" didn't really do well. i understand it's not the youtube meta and that's fine, but somehow that made me realize that this content space is not fitting for what i aspire to be as a content creator. so for the past months, as a new years resolution of some sort, i have decided to try anew and focus everything on one single channel. a channel that is about ME, without feeling constrained by a single topic or game - a channel with the theme of variety. that gives me the creative freedom i need, that allows me to do whatever i want to do and turn it into youtube videos, while also curating an audience that watches me for who i am, rather than which new character i built in this certain game.
i am very thankful for everyone. i do not take over a thousand subscribers for granted. this milestone was reached thanks to you guys and it made me really happy! making content on this channel was a very fun and most importantly a learning experience. every positive comment about me, my voice, my edits or my silliness really made my day and i want you to know that i really really appreciated the support. it is scary to leave this channel behind and start from scratch, but i feel like i've finally found something that suits me really really well and i want to give it a shot.
i will keep this channel as is and eventually post the new genshin parody song that i was working on, once i get time and motivation to finish it. but that will most likely be the last video on this channel.
my pngtuber and i have moved on to a new chapter of my life - the new variety channel - as a vtuber. why? the reason i was using a pngtuber in the first place was that i wanted the freedom of creating content no matter how i look, while also using a character that represents me in the videos. but i always found it not as expressive and thus not as representative of my emotions, which i wanted to be shown to connect with everyone watching. vtubing allows for both of that in a new way, and even though i do not have the most expressive model yet, i am really really enjoying it so far. and trust me, if you aren't into vtubers, maybe now is the time to at least give it a try and see what it's all about - i myself have only gotten into it not long ago and it is really just a content creator like every other, they're just using a digital face. in the past few months i have built a small community starting completely from scratch and i would love to have you be one of them. nothing about me has changed at my core - i still really enjoy editing and making fun content, being silly and making unoptimal decisions for the heck of it (like maining kaveh).

i'm sorry for the lack of videos lately. it was a turbulent two months with vacation, work and assignments, and now the new semester started so i feel like it's even more busy than before and i'm struggling to find time and energy to work on a time-consuming and creative hobby like youtube. which absolutely sucks because i really enjoy working on creative stuff.
because of the schedule and the resulting stress and lack of energy, i haven't sat down on my pc to play genshin for a month or so. i will pick it up in the near future to at least play the sabseruz festival! (kaveh <3) i also definitely want mavuika so for the archon patch i'll surely make more time to play.
i'm currently trying to figure out ways to spend less time to make better videos without burning out in the process. i have a lot of content ideas in my mind but sometimes that very thing can be overwhelming and make things feel out of reach.
so, are there any videos YOU would like to see on my channel? any kind of idea or style you're into lately? that would help me a lot trying to figure out what, when and how to make videos in the future.
