I’ve had the best morning! This is Buddy, and he was my trusty sidekick today. He politely greeted the buyers at the door and then led them from room to room. Each time he entered a space, he paused as if to make sure everyone took it all in. When they started heading toward the door, Buddy was already on his way to the next room, guiding the tour along.

When it was all said and done, he curled up in the chair beside me, perfectly content and ready for a nap.

There’s truly nothing better than showing homes. This one not only has amazing views — it comes with a tour guide, Buddy!

So thankful! We’ve been needing a new seamstress (missing you, Pat 💛). I found Wendy Hill from Pea Ridge on Facebook and took her two pairs of suit pants to hem. The process was quick and easy, and the hems look great!

We were on a tight timeline for a wedding, so the fast turnaround was incredibly important—and her pricing was very reasonable, too. If you’re looking for a seamstress, I highly recommend reaching out to Wendy at 641-780-7756.

Had a great breakfast this morning with this guy, Douglas Grant, from my office. Over all these years, he’s been my partner and my right-hand man. There will never be enough gratitude to thank him for everything he’s done. As we were talking this morning, it really hit me—he’s family. So much more than just someone I work with.

Well, it’s official. After 27 years, I’m parting ways with Cox. They didn’t even try to keep my business.

Years ago, my husband invested early in Starlink—first-round technology. I held on to Cox far longer than I probably should have. But last year’s outage proved what I needed to see: Starlink can fully support our entire household.
So when the Cox bill went up again, that was my sign. Time to let go of the old and move on.

Well, anyone who has a fur-baby, knows they would move heaven and earth if they are sick... Came home from work to my baby, limping and in pain. So thankful for Animal Urgent Care of Bentonville. They found a serious problem, and got us on the path to recovery. (Then of course, thank you to Hancock Vet, our normal vet for the follow up and long term plan) Love my Frank! Thank you to the angels at Urgent Care for helping him!

I visited my childhood home over the weekend. It stood silent and empty, yet full of echoes. Memories rushed in — wildlife at the tree line, endless summer days, and the love that went into building that little home in the first place. I could almost hear the whippoorwills at night, the sound that once lulled me to sleep. It was the place I felt safest, where life felt simple, and my heart first learned what “home” meant.

Wow! A walk down memory lane…. When I was a child, living in the small community of Shell Knob…. The school had a program in conjunction with Pizza Hut. Free personal pan pizzas for reading achievement’s. The owner’s son was in my class, and I am forever grateful to his father for this bright spot in my childhood…. I remember his father and his kindness. Program still going strong in this community. Program at least 40 years strong!
