Ketakee Mateygaonkar is a versatile Indian playback singer, songwriter, actress, and performer from India. The first playback singer to receive the prestigious Filmfare Award in Marathi, Ketakee has earned over 15 awards and has been professionally active since the age of 3. She has worked with music legends like Ilaiyaraja, Chinar Mahesh, Amitraj, Ashok Patki, Saleel Kulkarni, Rohan Rohan, Avinash Vishwajeet, Hrishikesh Saurabh Jasraj, and many more.

Ketakee's acting career began with her debut in "Shaala," where her performance as "Shirodkar" won hearts and contributed to the film's National Award win. She continued to deliver memorable performances in films like "KakSparsh" as Uma, and in the blockbuster "Time Pass" as Taani and Prajakta.

This year gave me a lot. Truly.

Incredible opportunities — working with brilliant composers, singing melodies I deeply love. But more than anything, this year gave me exploration. Of places, of work, of myself.

From travelling for music to discovering completely new places. From quiet joys — a simple glass of chhaas, to laughing like kids in an arcade with my brother. I’ve learned to stay connected to every version of me — the playful, the silly, the sensitive, the imperfect.

Most importantly, this year taught me self-acceptance.

Nothing about how I look changed. My perception did. And that changed everything. I stopped absorbing every opinion that came my way and learned the power of self-love. I’ve always believed in loving others without judgment. This year, I finally extended that grace to myself.

I also began expressing myself more — through music, through words — instead of holding it all in. And that’s exactly what 2026 will be about. You’ll see more of me. My story. My life in music and writing.

2025 will always be special. I released my first English song — something I had dreamed of for years. From film songs to the Savali tracks on Zee Marathi, the A.R. Rahman concert, scoring 85% in my Trinity Grade piano exam, to that first English release — every milestone mattered.

I also gained some beautiful friendships. For that, I’m deeply grateful.

Yes, there were emotionally difficult moments. But life moves on. And when you do, pain turns into a pearl — something you wear proudly because you survived.
