The youngest of 7 born in Polk County, FL, Chris has devoted his entire life to music. At 5, he started in family bands “The Blue Family” and "The Blue Brothers" then at 20 went solo, embarking on a whirlwind of shows, sharing the stage with greats such as Kirk Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond, Mary Mary, and Usher. In 2017, Chris was selected for NBC’s The Voice where he captured the hearts of millions with his raw vocal talent, heartfelt honesty, and brave vulnerability. His renditions of Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” and “Take Me to The King” proved he was a natural born star. The true shine was when he partnered with multi-Grammy award winner Alicia Keys on Prince’s “Diamonds and Pearls" and Al Green’s “Love and Happiness.” Chris recalls “Alicia said ‘Make sure you remain in the moment and don’t try to do anything; be it! That’s the natural order, we are human BE-ings not DO-ings’.’’ Chris says, “I want my music to bridge the gap. I’m a young guy, but I’m an old soul.”
