I'm a quadriplegic from a small village in Jharkhand. I can't move my hands and leg only i can move my head. I'm 100% paralyzed below my neck down.l was living a happy and content life with my parents and has two sisters, one elder and the other younger. I met with an accident in the year 2006 just a few days after I had appeared for my metric examination. I was severely wounded in the accident. I have also reached out to many villages in Jharkhand and personally visits homes of people suffering from the devastating effects of Spinal Cord Injury, despite my own physical condition. I also undertake strenuous train journeys by local trains and local village modes of transport in his wheelchair with his helper just to make a difference in the lives of people who are devastated, have never heard of Rehab and can never envision a better life for themselves. I advise them how to live a productive and empowered life despite their injury.

Just finished competing in the Cairo Boccia Championship and wanted to share my experience.
While I didn't bring home a medal this time, it was one of my best tournament or performances to date, especially at the international level. I made it all the way to the semifinals, narrowly losing by just 1 point in a heartbreaking 4-3 match.
Although I'm disappointed not to have won a medal, I've learned so much from this experience. I'm more determined than ever to keep improving and represent my country proudly in the future.
I want to say a big thank you to whom who supported and helped me to reach this championship. I couldn't have done it without you. Your encouragement means the world to me.
To all my friends reading this - thanks for the love and blessings. I'll keep working hard and hope to make you all proud with a medal win next time!
