🛒 Where Do We Get Our Merchandise?
We get this question a lot, so here’s the scoop!
Most of our inventory comes from online auctions, and our favorite platform by far is HiBid.com. If you’ve never used it, HiBid connects local auction houses with online bidders — meaning you can find everything from estate sales and school liquidations to collector auctions, all in one place. It’s like a treasure hunt that never ends. 🏺💻
While that’s our primary source, we still mix it up now and then:
🏡 Yard Sales – Great for random finds and fun conversations.
🤝 Private Purchases – Usually through introductions or local connections.
🏚️ Thrift & Antique Stores – We still check them, though good deals are getting harder to find.
And yes… we’ll say it: Goodwill just isn’t what it used to be. These days, we often find that we’re selling items in our eBay Store for less than what they’re charging. Go figure. 🤷♂️
