After Aimee was diagnosed with Cancer at 18 and Craig broke his neck shortly after by a freak accident, we decided life really is too short and we set off on an around the world trip. As we're getting older and no longer want to live in Craig's mum's attic - we've finally bought our own cottage and barn to renovate in Scotland.
Before this we loved to give ourselves new travel challenges like driving a rickshaw through India or driving a fiat panda to Russia raising money to save the rainforest .
Our mantra is Rule Your Own World - we only get one life and it’s YOURS to chose how to live it - make it count.
Our best challenges to date:
2018: We drove a 1.2 litre fiat panda to Russia on the Mongol Rally
2019: We bought a rickshaw in India and travelled from the North to the South
2023: We drove a beach buggy through Africa to raise money for shoes for kids

After buying an old run down cottage in Scotland + with very little DIY experience we decided to build a practise project first - something imperfect. Something we could try out and make mistakes on to gain some knowledge of building..
and I think we actually smashed it!
Where vinted elegance meets rustic countryside charm..
8 months of learning to build gave us an outdoor bathroom that turned out WAY more magical than we could have ever imagined 😌

What started out as a 72 hour challenge turned into a wonderful 8 months of work 🥰 (you can say that last bit sarcastically.. 🙃)
Having our first ever bath was surreal haha sounds very dramatic but come rain or snow we’ve worked on this build for what seems like a third of our lives.. and having it finished doesn’t feel real yet at all!
She is the best thing we’ve ever crated! (She has caring woman energy)
The space has its very own vibe and aura when you walk inside - the way the light shines through the stained glass windows and the sofa is just long enough to fit your body on - with your legs handing over the side - a PRIME spot for naps.
PLUS the log burner is a complete game changer.

The edit was a big one, we worked around the clock,
had a snag list the size of Malaysia, the new roof finally came and we had to rebuild-build and paint the whole thing from scratch, we filled in our soak away and decided last minute on a colour change for the bathroom so had to paint the whole thing - it’s such a big video we didn’t want to rush putting it together! 🙏🏻
But as she stands.. she looks absolutely incredible and we cannot wait to put this video together and share it with you! 😍😍

It was SO nice to spend some time away from the building site and explore a new city 📸 (and feel CLEAN! 😂)
Craig enjoyed taking just one camera and snapping some candid photos of us and our pals 💗
We miss travel loads and didn’t realise how much until we were let loose in the land of Guinness!
We are itching to get back out on the road .. and while we’re waiting for the building warrant, maaayybbee we might scratch it 👀
We’ll see how the Scotland cookie crumbles… 🤪
