PAGLILINAW SA TERM 2 BUDGET OF WORK (BOW)
Pag-aaral ng Kasaysayan at Lipunang Pilipino – Grade 11
Marami ang nagtatanong kung bakit tila mas maikli ang mga competencies sa Term 2 Budget of Work kumpara sa orihinal na Curriculum Guide.
Ang mahalagang tandaan ay ito:
Ang Three-Term Budget of Work ay hindi bagong curriculum. Ito ay reorganisasyon lamang ng mga learning competencies upang umayon sa bagong three-term structure. Hindi nito pinalitan o binawasan ang mga nilalaman ng orihinal na Curriculum Guide.
Halimbawa, kapag ang competency ay nagsasabing:
"Nasusuri ang mga kolektibong karanasan ng pakikibaka laban sa mga dayuhan gamit ang piling kaso sa kasaysayan."
Ang mga "piling kaso" ay hindi na kailangang hulaan. Nasa orihinal na Curriculum Guide mismo ang mga nilalaman na dapat talakayin, tulad ng:
Isyung panlipunan, ekonomiko, at politikal sa panahon ng Kolonyalismong Espanyol
Kalagayan ng kababaihan sa panahon ng Kolonyalismong Amerikano
Mga hamon ng Okupasyong Hapones
Gayundin, kapag ang competency ay:
"Natataya ang bunga ng mga kilusang panlipunan..."
Ang mga nilalaman nito ay ang:
Kilusang Agraryo
Kilusang Propaganda
Himagsikan
Kilusang Feminista
Kilusang Gerilya
Samantala, ang competency tungkol sa pakikiangkop ay tumutukoy sa mga paksa gaya ng:
Local Elitism
Dinastiyang Politikal
Diktadura
Karapatang Pantao
Sa madaling salita, ang BOW ang nagsasabi kung ano ang competency, ngunit ang Curriculum Guide pa rin ang nagbibigay ng detalye kung ano ang mga content na dapat ituro.
Ito ang dahilan kung bakit sa paggawa ko ng mga lesson, PowerPoint, at learning materials, palagi kong ginagamit ang orihinal na Curriculum Guide bilang pangunahing batayan upang matiyak na ang bawat competency ay may katumbas na nilalaman at nananatiling curriculum-aligned.
Ibinabahagi ko rin ang orihinal na Curriculum Guide sa post na ito upang magsilbing gabay sa mga kapwa guro sa paghahanda ng ating mga aralin para sa Term 2. Sana ay makatulong ito sa ating lahat.

Some of you have been asking about the remaining lessons for Quarter 1 Life and Career Skills, so here's a quick clarification.
The Life and Career Skills videos already uploaded on this channel were created before the implementation of the new DepEd Three-Term Curriculum. At that time, they covered the original Quarter 1 content based on the previous curriculum arrangement.
With the rollout of the new Grade 11 Three-Term Curriculum, the former Quarter 1 has now been reorganized into Term 1. This means that if you're following the latest DepEd Budget of Work, you may have noticed that there are still lessons missing after Week 4.
The good news is... I'm uploading them!
Starting this week, I'll be releasing the remaining lessons for Term 1 (Weeks 5–10) so you'll have a complete set of presentations aligned with the new DepEd Three-Term Curriculum.
So if you've already watched Weeks 1–4, stay tuned, the second half of Term 1 is on the way!
