I wrote this song 12 years ago during my post-divorce writing phase, and revisited it when the #Ukraine war began. With a little help from Nick Veray writing the chorus, and Piero Rigo with the mix, its powerful meaning is more poignant and relevant than ever!

The Amphion Two18s are my speaker for life!
The MTM format works beautifully in my studio. For now, they’re paired with my single PSI subwoofer with the 48dB/Oct crossover at 40Hz in Trinnov (Nova) so I get the full-range stereo image from the speakers coming at me off the desk.
The Amphions are quite a dry speaker so the HEDD Type 20 mkii’s are a great compliment being a very wet/juicy speaker. The depth of sound on the HEDDs is incredible and make placing sounds forward, back, wide, narrow in a mix really easy!
The Tantrum Angry Boxes are my consumer device reference speaker. These will 100% highlight if your kick and bass mid-range frequencies will translate onto laptops and phones or not. It’s easy with the full range speakers to rely on smiley face EQs for punch, weight and articulation but these will highlight where you need to add harmonic content for presence.
