now that it’s summer i’ve been eating mangoes at least twice a day and the big ones too 😋 one day imma move to a tropical country and eat all the mangoes there bc ik the ones in the u.s. are not as good 😔
life is never linear. you may visit a circumstance similar to a past one, but that doesn’t mean you’ve fallen back. the universe put you in that situation for a reason, so recognize that fact! it doesn’t mean all your progress was for nothing and that you’re back at the beginning. actually, the universe might’ve put you on a step seemingly backwards from the one you were on, but that was only so that you could evolve and jump five steps forward.
this is your sign to go read your favorite childhood books, watch your favorite cartoons, act “weird”, talk without living in your head, just be a kid again! that inner child lives on through you, and it will always be a part of you. heal those hidden, shadowed parts of yourself so you may be whole again.
i have absolutely no desire to look how literally every other person looks. the only person i want to look like is myself. honestly, it gets tiring looking at the same instagram face all the time
i genuinely do not give a fuck about what the beauty standard says. like they’ll tell me oh this is considered “ugly” and im like ?? girl what lol because i always end up admiring the features people end up calling “flaws” even though they probably don’t even think that, they just blindly follow whatever the beauty standard says. but truely, i find the differences in everyone GENUINELY beautiful and fascinating. you can think i’m lying but i’m being fr. i really think it’s so cool and amazing how all the different ethnicities and regions of the world have different features and culture. it’s so damn beautifulll and it reminds me of why i love this little human experience called life
