Under the baton of our music director and resident principal conductor, Mr Mike Chiang, the Nanyang Polytechnic Chinese Orchestra (NYPCO) continues to push boundaries and reach new heights of musical excellence each year. Mr Chiang is known for bold artistic direction and fresh interpretations, blending tradition with innovation. NYPCO’s repertoire spans Western classics, Chinese pop, Japanese pop, Korean pop, and game soundtracks, offering audiences a rich musical experience.

Earlier this year, NYPCO held Journey Through Time [古韵新风] , starting with traditional masterpieces like 将军令 and 春华秋实, followed by modern pieces like Canon in D, Best of Big Bang, Jay Chou Medley, and a highlight of game soundtracks from Honor of Kings and Genshin Impact. The concert ended festively with Mambo and 花好月圆.
