Scaramouche's story has so much complexity and emotional depth, I love him sm 😞❤️
His tale is of one forever doomed to wander amid the ashes of his past, trapped within a hollow cage of puppetry, freedom but a distant dream. And he had sat behind those bars, waiting, yearning for something to feed his empty existence with meaning.
Whether his hands had been defiled by blood or tempered with flames, or if his soul had spoken stories of either love or hate, he would have been damned to a purposeless void all the same.
And still, he chose to continue to be that same, tragic person.
Because in those ashen remains, he finally found his "heart", cradling it close within scarred hands. The flames that had bloomed then were of the same poignance as the very "birth" he had detested, and so, at last, he held hope.
Hope was for the fickle of mind, he always knew, yet he continued to embrace it, again and again, because unfortunately--all too hauntingly--he was far too human, and always would be.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCARA (a lil late because of different timezones) But I truly wish him the most brilliant of birthdays. He's tried and strained and sought after something beyond his reach for so long. He was tossed into this world with no clue of why he existed, not even having a name of his own. He was the innocent, naive puppet, he was the deluded and arrogant harbinger, he was a fallen and foolish god, and now, he is a bird finally able to step out of the cage that he locked himself in. I love him so much. It feels as though so much time has passed since I first discovered him. My baby, my literal everything, may he know that so many of us are happy for his birth.
