ഇന്ന് മുതൽ ഇന്ത്യയും കൊറോണ വൈറസ് റെഡ് ലിസ്റ്റ് രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ ലിസ്റ്റിൽ സ്ഥാനം പിടിച്ചു, ഇനിമുതൽ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്ന് യുകെയിൽ വരുന്ന എല്ലാവരും 10 ദിവസം ഹോട്ടൽ ക്വാറന്റൈൻ ചെയ്യണം, ആയതിനാൽ യുകെയിലേക്കിനി ഫ്ലൈറ്റ് ഇല്ല, ഇന്ത്യക്കാർക്ക് യുകെയിൽ പോകാൻ പറ്റില്ല എന്ന് തുടങ്ങി ഇന്ത്യയിലുള്ള മിക്ക മാധ്യമങ്ങളും കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ നന്നായി തള്ളി മറിച്ചു. കൂടാതെ ഇവിടെയുള്ള കുറെ യൂട്യൂബ് അണ്ണമ്മാർ മാക്സിമം വീഡിയോ റീച്ച് കിട്ടാൻ അതിനു നല്ല ഹൈപും കൊടുത്തു. ഇനി അത് പോരാത്തതിന് കൊച്ചിയിൽ നിന്നും ബോംബെയിലേക്ക് യാത്ര ചെയ്ത നഴ്സുമാരോട് എയർ ഇന്ത്യ സ്റ്റാഫിന്റെ ഒരു ഉപദേശവും, യുകെയിലേക്കു ഫ്ലൈറ്റ് ഒന്നും ഇല്ല അടുത്ത ഫ്ലൈറ്റിനു കൊച്ചിക്കു തിരിച്ചു പോകാൻ റെഡി ആയിക്കോ എന്നും..!!!
യുകെയിലേക്കു വരാൻ തയ്യാറെടുക്കുന്ന ആളുകളെ സംശയത്തിൻ്റെയും ടെൻഷൻ്റെയും മുൾമുനയിൽ നിർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് തള്ളി മറിച്ച ആളുകൾ അറിയാൻ, യുകെയിലേക്കു ഫ്ലൈറ്റുകൾ വരുന്നുണ്ട്.!!!
ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ വന്ന ഫ്ലൈറ്റിൽ 34 നഴ്സുമാർ വന്നിറങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്, അതെ കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 34 മാലാഖമാർ പറന്നിറങ്ങി. ദേ അവരുടെ പടം കൂടി കൊടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. അടുത്ത ഒരാഴ്ചക്കുള്ളിൽ വേറെ ഒരു 200 നേഴ്‌സുമാരും കൂടി വരുന്നുണ്ട്. അത് കൂടാതെ യുണൈറ്റഡ് നഴ്സസ് അസ്സോസിയേഷനുമായി(UNA) ചേർന്ന് ഒരു ചാർട്ടേഡ് ഫ്ലൈറ്റ് കൊച്ചിയിൽ നിന്ന് യുകെയിലേക്കു എത്തിക്കാനും പ്ലാൻ ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ട്. 26 നു ഒരു ഫ്ലൈറ്റ് പ്ലാൻ ചെയ്തിരുന്നെകിലും ചില കാരങ്ങളാൽ അത് ക്യാൻസൽ ചെയ്യേണ്ടി വന്നു.
രണ്ടു തവണ കോറോണയുടെ അതി പ്രസരം ഉണ്ടായപ്പോളും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തു നിന്നുപോലും ഫ്ലൈറ്റ് സർവ്വീസ് നിരോധിക്കാതെ മുന്നോട്ടു പോയ ഒരു രാജ്യം ആണ് യുകെ. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഫ്ലൈറ്റുകൾ ഒരിക്കലും യുകെ നിരോധിക്കും എന്ന് ഞാൻ കരുതുന്നില്ല. എന്നാൽ ഇന്ത്യ ഒരു പക്ഷെ യുകെയിലേക്കുള്ള ഫ്ലൈറ്റുകൾ നിർത്തലാക്കിയേക്കാം. അത് ഇതിനു മുമ്പും സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്.
പിന്നെ ഇന്നലെ വൈകുന്നേരം വന്ന പുതിയ അറിയിപ്പ് പ്രകാരം റെഡ് ലിസ്റ്റ് രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ആദ്യമായി വരുന്ന നേഴ്‌സുമാർ 10 ദിവസത്തെ ഹോട്ടൽ ക്വാറന്റൈൻ ചെയ്യാതെ വേണമെകിൽ ആശുപത്രി അധികൃതർ തയാറാക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു ക്വാറന്റൈൻ ചെയ്താലും മതിയാകും എന്ന് UK ഗവണ്മെന്റ് അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

Update: I am aware many of UK visa applicants submitted their visa applications between 10th -15th August is yet to receive a decision. As per the home office guidance, normally, they will make a decision in 15 working days although it can take up to 12 weeks. As far as my knowledge, most of the applications were processed from the home office and it will be delivered in the next couple of weeks. This has been delayed due to the software issue on the system.

Unfortunately, no one can do anything rather than waiting. Home office guidance says UK Application process can take up to 12 weeks from the date of biometrics., Hence you can not really make a complaint on the same. All I wanted to advise you, Your passports are safe and you will get it back. Please do not make travel arrangements until you get your passport & Visa. Kindly be patient you will have your visas soon.

Finally the good news is out: All Nurses and their Dependants paid IHS fee on or after 31st March will be eligible for a refund and they can request the refund now. All new applications(main applicants & dependants)will be exempted from IHS from 4th August 2020. IHS exemption would be applicable for alll healthcare professionals. Thank you Febin Cyriac
