Dear Friends and Community,
What an extraordinary, vibrant, and deeply fulfilling year it has been so far. As I reflect on the past eight months, I am struck by how fast time moves when you are surrounded by passion, purpose, and good company. From content creation and practical restoration projects to traveling across continents, this year has been an incredible whirlwind of service, storytelling, and lifelong learning.

On our YouTube channel, Rosset Bespoke Butlers, we have covered a rich spectrum of subjects. We’ve explored everything from modern hospitality dilemmas—such as reacting to AI home robots and addressing contemporary service standards—to unpacking historical "below stairs" rules, proper etiquette, and the fine nuances of domestic management. We have tested furniture restoration techniques, explored vintage watch restoration, dissected luxury party pairing tips, and debated whether AI belongs in our traditional profession. It has been a joyful experience bringing these stories and practical tutorials directly to all of you, maintaining the delicate balance between timeless traditions and the modern world.

Yet, beyond the camera lens, the true heart of this year lies in the hands-on service and teaching that define who I am. My greatest honour this year has been the privilege of hosting such wonderful, dedicated students at the Rosset Bespoke Butler School hosted at Kelburn Castle. Watching eager trainees step into the historic grounds of the estate, embrace the core pillars of respect, kindness, and honesty, and master everything from posture and etiquette to the art of flawless silver care has been immensely gratifying. To guide the next generation of private service professionals as they discover their confidence and refine their craft is a joy like no other.

Equally rewarding has been the opportunity to personally look after such amazing clients across two very different, beautiful corners of the world. Serving distinguished principals in the regal, rolling landscapes of the UK as well as the sun-drenched, vibrant shores of Barbados has reminded me why I fell in love with this profession twenty-five years ago. Each venue brings its own unique rhythm, whether managing grand country estates in Scotland or tailoring seamless luxury experiences in the Caribbean. Meeting high standards under diverse conditions requires absolute discretion, adaptability, and poise—qualities I hold dear and continuously share with my students.

As we step into the remainder of the year, I want to thank every one of you—our newsletter readers, channel members, clients, and students—for being part of this journey. There are many more exciting projects, videos, and training cohorts on the horizon, and I cannot wait to share them with you.
