There’s just something special about these full art / secret rare cards from Mega Symphonia. Maybe it’s the texture, or the art style, or just the pretty color combinations. Whatever it is, they have me looking at mega evolutions in a (slightly) more favorable light than usual. #pokemontcg#japanesepokemoncards#megasymphonia
Mega Dream (released in English as Ascended Heroes) wasn’t a set I even considered mastering. Not only is it a massive set — which I don’t need another to contend with right now — but the cards aren’t all that compelling to me. There are plenty that are awesome — and with these three going into my personal collection, there are only two or three more I want — but sometimes a set just doesn’t resonate. And that’s a good thing, at least for my wallet 😂
Even if I wasn’t mastering White Flare, the art of these cards would be enough to make me want them for my personal collection. The Stoutland art by Eri Kamei is just too good.
I’ve loved opened Shiny Treasure ex as I work toward completing its massive master set. While I’ve never concerned myself with chasing shiny Pokémon in the games, there’s something special about this set that has me super excited to catch ‘em all.
These three — Lucario, especially — are my current favorites. Which shiny Pokémon is your favorite?
