I made a live ambient version of Growing Up Was Painful by stripping everything back and letting the song breathe.
Someone told me it sounds like it belongs on a Café del Mar album, which is probably one of the nicest things anyone has ever said about my music. 🤍
This song is about honouring the truth of my life and everything I've experienced, and celebrating my growth and healing journey that lead to more joy, happiness, love, creativity, connection, and discovering parts of myself I knew existed.

I've quietly been creating something that's incredibly personal.
Over on Patreon, I've started a new spoken-word audio series called The Arcadia Diaries - Letters to My Younger Self. This audio series shares the stories behind my latest track Growing Up Was Painful.
Each episode is me in 2026 talking to different versions of me, revisiting the moments that shaped my life with the understanding I have now.
So far I've released:

🤍 Episode 2 | The Culdesac Era - To the 13-year-old me trying to settle into Perth.
These aren't just stories about my childhood. They're about grief, belonging, trauma, healing, and the long journey of finding your way home to yourself.
This series is Patreon-first because I wanted to create a space where I could share these deeply personal pieces with the people who choose to support my work.

My latest livestream! Made some progress on the live performance I'm putting together for my latest single release Growing Up Was Painful. Still not 100% there but it’s slowly getting closer to the version I’m imagining but it’s gonna take some more practice for muscle memory to set in.
Just a heads up the video froze towards the end, but hopefully you get to see how this performance is coming together and the vision I have.
I have hopefully fixed some of the tech issues so fingers crossed there are no dropouts on my next stream!

yooooo my friends! I just did my first music making livestream the other night!!!!!! I shared some new music I'm working on and started putting together a live chill ambient stripped back performance of my latest release Growing Up Was Painful which just landed on all streaming platforms today!! I'm having so much fun but the Ableton audio dropped out towards the end of this video and I didn't find out until my partner Nicki told me on the stream! So apologies, but I sorted it out - I had to end the stream and jump back on so there are two parts to this stream! The second part is where I really get into putting this live performance together.

I finally filled out my Grade 12 Yearbook after 30 years!
For 30 years, I thought keeping my guard up and staying silent was the only way to keep myself safe. I became an expert at reading rooms and swallowing my feelings before anyone could see them. But leaving those entries blank in Grade 12 wasn't because I didn't have a personality, it was because I was too frozen to speak. I didn't know how to express myself, I didn't know what my true desires were, or what I really wanted to do in life.
