Middlemarch Meditation Update - episode is filmed and edited, but we had a hitch uploading. It's nearly midnight here so I'm going to call it a day and try the upload again tomorrow

Four pages left in War and Peace (the story part) and just the Epilogue left to read (oh well). On course to finish the whole book before Christmas

OK I am starting a post smash. Don't know if this has ever been done before. I am backing up the post from Pat ‪@BookChatWithPat8668‬ asking everyone who can to subscribe to Nick's channel ‪@DrCrankyPantsReads‬ because he has been making content for months which deserves better than £1k subscribers. His version of the #TrickorTreat tag that just came out is amazing, clearly took a lot of imagination, clever and funny scripting, extra time to film and heaven only knows how much editing. BookTube don't do Oscars but if they did Nick should win one. Let's get him up in the big league where he belongs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdruv...

This is a new channel which has not done a BookTube Newbie tag, so she hasn't been discovered by many people but she's got a great cosy, bookish vibe and deserves more than 26 subscribers. Please check out @laurajanereads youtube.com/@laurajanereads

@earreadthis5373 Ear Read This - new discovery for me. Ash runs a bookshop in Edinburgh and I like how to the point his short videos are, and how satisfying his longer ones. This was the episode YouTube suggested in my feed, which made me smile https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-wCs...

I'm back! Had a fantastic little vacation in Northumberland with, believe it or not, no rain and sunshine virtually every day. Expect some new content from me this weekend. In the meantime, check out this wonderful filming of Barter Books in Alnwick by the channel ‪@brontesistersuk‬ . We went there last week but I got too distracted by the books! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owApz...

Excited to tell you about a BookTube newbie discovery. Candy started her channel @TheGreatLiteraryRabbitHole
in March this year. She told me she grew up in Hay on Wye, and in spite how jealous I am I subscribed. She's has also constructed and is working through a DIY Literature degree https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwzDX... and she is also into tarot!

She's here to make friends and her presentation style is really warm and welcoming. I urge everyone to go meet Candy

I feel the way Proust looks right now ... having filmed two takes of this review and still do not believe I have said what needs to be said. Talk about "in search of lost time"! Will make one last attempt and posting might be later than Sunday
