Have You Been Denied Chapter 13... But Why?

If a debtor can afford to repay creditors, why fight to keep them in Chapter 7?

Is it simply a legal disagreement, or are there other incentives at play?

In my case, I believe keeping the case in Chapter 7 increased the risk that my property could be sold.

What do you think? I'd like to hear your perspective.

Do you believe debtors who can repay their debts should have a meaningful opportunity to convert to Chapter 13? Let me know in the comments, and subscribe for more discussions about bankruptcy rights and real-world cases.
