I am excited to share that in 2026, I am updating my handle!
I have used the name DoSo Knits since 2020, when I started my YouTube Channel.

A play on my last name, Dussault, which the French pronunciation sounds like "DoSo"
However, with the new year, I am feeling a rebrand to align with what I feel my knitting means to me.

I am updating my handles to be "Knit. Life. Balance"
I feel like this update aligns with how I view my knitting: incorporating it into my life and finding an overall balance with work, school, and life in general.

I am excited and invigorated by this little change, and I hope you are as well!
It is the same person behind this little corner of the internet, but with a slightly different name.


The logo is still a work in progress 😊

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that I realized I have been missing the "Place adds Automatically" checkbox on all my recent videos.

This led to YouTube automatically placing way more ad spots than I ever intended...
I am so sorry.

I have gone through all my recent videos and removed the automatically placed ad spots - this means each video now has 1-3 ad spots vs. before there were about 50.

I do so apologize for not catching this sooner, but YouTube did present this in a way that even though I was adding manual spots - at break points I set - and adding the automatic ones on top of my manual ones.

I hope removing these will make your viewing experience more enjoyable.
Also, if you ever encounter a video with numerous ads, please let me know and I will gladly check the settings.

Hi Friends!
I know I am one week behind on my normally scheduled knitting podcasts.. I apologize. Last weekend, I totally missed my normal recording time.

My plan was to record this weekend, but alas, I know I have a cold 🤒
So... no podcast this weekend. Depending on how quickly I jump back, a vlog might be in the works, but otherwise, I am hoping to record a "normal" episode next weekend.

Hi All!
So, in lieu of a podcast this week, I am planning a vlog as I participate in the Curio Sock Challenge hosted by Andrea Mowry over this Thanksgiving holiday.

I am also planning to vlog during Decembet for vlogmas, although, I have not determined if it will be daily or not.
With all these vlogs, I may not sit down for a "typical" podcast until the new year, but who knows?

I will definitely show a bunch of knitting and finished Objects throughout the vlogs though and I hope you all will join and enjoy these more relaxed videos!
