Saleh al-Jafarawi was a young Palestinian journalist and storyteller from Gaza City, born on 22 November 1997.
He became a powerful voice for his people, showing the world the truth of life under war and occupation. Through his videos and heartfelt reports, he gave millions a glimpse into the struggles, hopes, and resilience of Palestinians.

During the ongoing Gaza conflict, Saleh continued to report fearlessly from the frontlines ~ not as a soldier, but as a witness for truth.
On 12 October 2025, while covering the situation in the Sabra area of Gaza City, he was tragically killed by gunfire, even while wearing his press vest.

His death shook hearts across the world. Some called him a journalist, others an influencer ~ but above all, he was a human who refused to stay silent in the face of injustice.

Saleh’s courage will always remind the world that “even when voices are silenced, their message never dies.”
May his soul rest in peace.
