We #refugees feel that it is essential to increase the number of protection officers and ensure better access to them.
According to testimonies from refugees, many individuals especially women and youth face ongoing threats, harassment, and violence within the camps.
When they seek protection from the #UNHCR#Protection Unit, they often encounter long delays, with some waiting months before being able to speak to a protection officer.
Even when meetings take place, refugees say they are frequently told that their cases will be forwarded to senior officials, but no immediate protection is provided, leaving them exposed to continued danger. #rohingyarefugees1992 #SafetyMatters#RohingyaCrisis #UNHCR#Bangladesh 2026
"Documenting the human condition requires more than technical skill; it requires empathy and the courage to look closer.
My work remains dedicated to challenging stereotypes and illuminating the realities of the Rohingya crisis.
Through every frame, I aim to turn silent struggles into a loud, undeniable call for humanity and justice. We tell these stories so the world cannot look away."
We are Rohingya refugees living in Bangladesh. Even though we have spent many years in the camps, we continue to stay active and hopeful. There is a Taekwondo Federation in Bangladesh, and we are conducting training in our Rohingya refugee camps. Through this training, our children can learn discipline, build confidence, and improve their future. If Taekwondo is properly supported and taught in the camps, it was fantastic way can create positive change for the young generation. I believe those who are providing Taekwondo training in Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh deserve recognition and publicity
They stress that food aid is not a privilege, but a necessity for survival.
Recent ration cuts have led to rising hunger, malnutrition, and deepening hardship across the camps.
The community is appealing to the World Food Programme and the international community to act immediately by restoring full rations, addressing funding shortages, and protecting their basic human rights.

Against the backdrop of the world’s largest refugee camp, a kite becomes a vessel for the impossible.
It is a reminder that even when feet are tethered to uncertain ground, a child's spirit remains unconfined.

Photography is easy to learn in this day and age.
Many people learn photography online, but there are also valuable opportunities to learn offline.
I, Abul Kalam, speak from my own experience, especially for my young Rohingya brothers.
Learning photography offline often yields better results.
While reviewing photos directly, experienced photographers can give you direct guidance, point out mistakes, and help you improve step by step.
Masters can teach you up close with hands-on assistance.
Those learning photography in Rohingya camps should try to learn offline whenever possible.
This can be one of the best ways to truly understand and improve your photography skills.

This is not the time to remain silent. Day by day, the killing and abuse of children are increasing.
Our children, as well as we ourselves, are not safe here.
Considering the current safety and security situation, we demand the right to live in safety and dignity in the refugee camps of Bangladesh (KRC).
