I just posted my new song called "Singing in the Rain." It is about my own personal journey to finding myself. I've had many struggles in life trying to find "things" and looking for other people to make me happy. But the real truth is that I already had all of that inside of me. I just never recognized or appreciated it. This is really is a love song from me, about me, and to me.
I hope you know that nothing and nobody else can make you happy. You are worthy and valuable. The real happiness has always been inside of you. You are beautiful.

This hits my heart 😢, pā ka na'au because of the land grab after the time of foreigners entrance to Hawai'i. Knowledge is key. These are the kinds of things I teach my own children and my students. I've dedicated my life to 'ōlelo Hawai'i, I learned the language of my ancestors to make sure that the keiki know. 'Ōlelo Hawai'i holds language, stories, knowledge, information that is vital for the nation. Past, present, and future. This is not just about me and my kids or my own personal happiness, us 3 and no more. It's about a legacy for the generations. What kind of legacy are you leaving?
