My thoughts about episode 10 of The Season 2 remake!

I really liked this episode, A least we changed the Latina stereotype and it was great overall, Also during the intermission, The concept of showing S4 cast and location during S2 👁️👄👁️ THEY KEPT THE "I'm not mad, I'm disappointed"

Now for the contestants:

-Rosa 🌷 (Better ⬆️): Her elimination was unfair, pretty similarly to how Zaid got eliminated (Except she didn't forgive Riya when Zaid did forgive Logan which I still find fucked 👹) I loved this version of Rosa, A more agressive and more personality for her, this remake saved her

-Hunter 💀 (Better ⬆️): Same goes for him, I love that Hunter became more sociable overtime, Still socially awkward but there's improvement, His talks with Maggy, Lake and Rosa are the sweetest

-Riya 🎭 (Better ⬆️): Even in this remake, I still don't understand why she decided to backstab Rosa, Like let's say she didn't backstab her, Hunter didn't win and got eliminated, Episode 11 best case scenario, she wins immunity and is the final 3, Worst case scenario, she's on a tie breaker with James or the immunity totem can be used. Nonetheless, I still love this version of Riya!

-Jaiden 🧸📱 (Better ⬆️): POOR AIDEN IS STILL CRYING AFTER THIS, He really feels bad and wanted to say sorry, (Little rant but I really don't understand Aiden haters, They hated Aiden being an NPC in AS, but when he does something, You still hate him for it?! Mind you people who hate Aiden for what he did to Karol BY ACCIDENT loved Riya for doing the same with Connor, The double standards and this fandom in general is a prison 😭 Hate Aiden if you want, but don't make it your whole personality) Whatever, JAMES CALLED HIM SUNSHINE ONCE MORE AAAAAAAAA!!!! I loved that sweet conversation he has with Aiden, much better than what we had in the beta, A hug could have been cherry on top, Lol James really wants to become Bayonetta 😂 I only know her from Smash Bros HELP 💀 I don't blame James for being mad at Rosa, He already had beef with her, If only they knew they would clear things up in the finale

My thoughts about episode 9 of the Season 2 remake:

If I had to choose what my least favorite episode of this season is, it might be this one. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it, it's my least favorite, nuance in the terms. It remained the same though some things improved like the spider not being killed, Aiden feeling bad...
I love how Kristal let Oliver do the recap and the elimination ceremony, And if I remember, this is the first and probably only episode where Oliver does this

Let's go into the characters:

-Karol 🐾 (Better ⬆️): I really prefer this version of Karol instead of the Beta one, She's slowly creating an antagonist of Riya, I loved that they didn't have to tranquilize her while she's getting evicted, Vanetia nailed those scenes! And seeing her argue with Aiden AKA Viester AKA her friend is so funny 😂

-Ally 🎮 (Same 🟰): Outside of some changes she had like winning immunity and that advantage, she practically stayed the same, Though OMG her telling to Riya that her and Rosa can be enemies in the game and friends outside of it, oh Ally, you have no idea of the monster you're creating 😭

-Rosa 🌷 (Better ⬆️): I loved her calling out James, Shows more of her new personality, When Lake was being sweet with him, she on the other hand chose violence

-Hunter 💀 (Same 🟰): Remake Hunter is still the best, I love how Huntally is handled in this remake (You can tell I have nothing to say about him 🙃)

-Riya 🎭 (Better ⬆️): HER VILLAIN ARC IS WAY BETTER HANDLED HERE! I ACTUALLY PREFER THIS RIYA! This episode showed how Riya learns through observing with Karol's words planting a seed in her head, a seed that will turn into an AS Riya. And Aiden putting a spider on Oliver only worsened or got things better for her depending on how you see it. She observed things then jumped into conclusions that fitted her better

-Jaiden 🧸📱(Better ⬆️): AIDEN FEELS REMORSES FOR WHAT HE DID, THIS WAS FIXED! I wish the scene was changed but sadly Greetings had to be canon, My poor baby was crying himself, I wanna hug him 😭 *Le Sigh* I guess I'm not going to hear the end of the Aiden hate but I'm used to it ATP 🫠 James on the other hand got called out by Rosa in a rather right-forward way, He genuinely feels bad for using everyone for content, Man I love this version of James 😍 ALSO SUNSHINE WAS PRONOUNCED ONCE AGAIN!!! "Sunshine, I could never" JAMES WAS SO REAL FOR THAT 😍

My thoughts about Episode 4 of TomJake 2:

I... Wow... I'm speechless... I don't know what to say about this episode, this is not only the best episode of the TomJake series, it's the best episode of Disventure Camp in general!! It's such a flawless, down to earth delivery of a very dark topic and they nailed it! After rewatching it to make this post, I was on the verge of crying after some of the Scenes were shown, notably the phone call, the Flashbacks and the Reed reunion

Okay first and foremost, let's talk about the light-hearted moments of the episodes then we'll proceed with the more serious topics:

I loved how Jake told him mom off, show her Jake! Don't let that bitch get into you, I'm sorry but if you think that after mentally abusing Jake, he would magically forgive you when he already has 2 other mother figures, then you're sorely mistaken. Sorry bitch, but Jake is not a Hamilton anymore 😈 Though at the very last scene, I'm really worried that he will forgive her, PLEASE JAKE, I KNOW SHE'S YOUR MOM AND I KNOW YOU SEE THE BEST IN EVERYONE, BUT MAKE AN EXCEPTION! THAT WOMAN IS OUT OF YOUR LIFE!!! I would feel unsatisfied and disappointed!

Lol Shawn trying to be a real straight Ally (Yet closeted Bi 🤫) with TomJake again, mission failed as always 😂😭
We now know the location of the wedding, such a beautiful view!
Ooh Miriam made a TikTok account for Jake vlogging his life and it's already a hit, James and Isabel have some serious competition now 😂
I loved that sweet moment between Jake and Shawn even though it's also them Vaping lol. Shawn giving some actual great advice for once and being a great big brother!

Now off we enter the more dark topics...

What's really shocking is that not only is Ryan Winters Tom's uncle, but Tom's shitty father is actually dead, I'm glad he's dead and no, I don't feel any shame saying that. Oh and the uncle is homophobic, I lowkey thought he would call him the f-slur. If I were Tess, I wouldn't have stayed calm like her. I can relate to Tom's Reaction when he learnt that he had cancer and died, I learnt at a young age that my mom had cancer and me learning that she died from it made it worse. This part is just the tip of the iceberg

The Flashbacks oh my god 😥 We can clearly see how much of an asshole that mf was to Tom and Jackie, the worst part is Tom projecting all that trauma and Frustration on Tony, this is a generational trauma, and the way we're shown how Tom got his scars was from that man, IF HE WASN'T DEAD I WOULD HAVE KILLED HIM ALREADY! That's child abuse and sadly the whole Reed Family paid the price 😔

I really love how Tony was handled. It means a lot that the younger sibling wasn't shown as the brat who doesn't understand anything. I love how the show showed his pov, he has valid reasons to be hurt and upset about Tom, I also love how the show wasn't afraid to put Tom in the role of a bad guy in someone else's story while also showing the reason and holding him accountable.
Finally I will end this post by saying this. Some people are sadly condemned to repeat the behaviors they endured on those they most love. It's never easy to overcome generational trauma, but it's never impossible, as someone with a younger brother, I immediately went to hug and spend some time with him 💖

My thoughts about episode 8 of the season 2 Remake:
JAIDEN FANS I HOPE YOU GOT FED WELL DURING THIS EPISODE!!!! This challenge was practically the same, they made it so much however and so are the interactions, I really loved how they gave a scene of Hunter and Ally really interacting with Karol, I'm honestly glad they changed the fact that Karol should only Also THE JAIDEN SCENES WERE PEAK AS ALWAYS!!!!!! 😍😍❤️💛❤️💛

For the characters (I'm not counting Karol since she just returned, but I do wanna ask her a question about when she killed Naked Hunter.... Buuuuut I have to stay PG so no🤭)

-Lake 🏵️ (Same 🟰): The continuity of the Lesbian 8th place curse following Gabby. It's really difficult to give any kind of opinion to a character when they literally did the same exact thing in the Beta 😭 Nonetheless, I loved her little goodbye to everyone, too bad we didn't have any Lakeden interactions, however, I can't wait to see her again in the finale, most importantly saving Jaiden!

-Ally 🎮 (Better ⬆️): How the tables have turned! Hunter is the one taking a shower (Ironic since he canonically smells bad) and Ally discovers him "Dead" That's a smart move of her using the advantage this episode (Pretend I'm someone who doesn't know that she's getting eliminated next 🤫)

-Rosa 🌷 (Same 🟰): I have nothing interesting to say about her besides that she's a peak mother!

-Hunter 💀 (Better ⬆️): Remake Hunter is peak Hunter, I'm pleased that the shower scene didn't end up being too sexual since we're on a horror context! Other than that, I'm relieved he didn't get immunity (At least for now)

-Riya 🎭 (Same 🟰): Oooh Riya is starting her villain arc 👀 It's cool that we see her being hesitant over if she should save Lake or not, that decision... Will be the end of her 💀 And next episode won't solve things I'm afraid, there's also the fact that she knows that James hid the Convo he had with Huntally and I'm worried that Episode 11 will talk about it as well 😭💀 Also Riya is definitely the one who wrote that Lake vote ugly

-Jaiden 🧸📱 (Better ⬆️): He not only was so scared about watching horror movies that he curled up into a ball, but also was genuinely worried about Seeing a dead James 😭 the worst part is that... It's only the beginning of his traumas, MY POOR BABY! 🥺😭 He was so glad to see James' alive again so much that he hugged and wouldn't have let go if it wasnt't for The situation (Also Viester nailed that scream 😳) As for James, Ugh I want someone to hold me the way James held Aiden when announcing a horror movie night 😩 They kept the Scream reference, Also him blushing at the mention of Aiden being his boyfriend AND HE CALLED AIDEN SUNSHINE 😍 That scene of him looking at his messages, he's genuinely starting to feel bad for using Aiden for clout 😭 The fact that he stayed loyal to Aiden is so good

My thoughts about Episode 7 of the S2 Remake!
Yet another peak episode! While the challenge and some interactions remained the same, I'll go over some
Seeing the Lake, Rosa and Riya friendship is so cute yet heartbreaking knowing what will happen between them.
THE LAKEDEN MOMENT HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH JAMES LORE! I'm genuinely surprised that they changed it, but it's a welcoming change, we'll talk more about this in the character section
Hunter won immunity like in the OG, it was so funny when Aiden said "I mean, they can't win more immunities right?" Oh Aiden, if only you knew. Funny for us Veterans but kind of a spoiler for newbies. I'm surprised that they decided to vote Ally over Tess, I was wondering how on earth are they going to vote for Tess now? Turns out she asked Rosa herself I must say, it's so much better than the Beta!

Now onto the characters:

-Tess 🖌️ (Better ⬆️) :This week was such an amazing week for Tess fans including myself, It’s satisfying to see the episodes of Tess’ introduction of struggling with depression release around the same time as episode 3 of TJ2 where she’s gotten better at managing herself and even helping others 🖤🧡 (I just know a certain King Royal must have enjoyed that 🥹)

-Lake 🏵️ (Better ⬆️): The Jaiden savior is starting her magic! Like I said, I'm really happy they replaced the Lakeden interaction with James and Lake! She has struck a chord in James both in that question in the trivia challenge and Aiden, Lake is truly the best! So sad she's getting eliminated next 😭

-Ally 🎮 (Same 🟰): She pretty much stayed the same, I have nothing more to say about her

-Rosa 🌷(Better ⬆️): I still love that new personality of her, YEAH ROSA, SHOW LAKE'S PARENTS WHO'S LAKE'S NEW MOTHER! Also Rosa didn't respect Tom at all 😭 Ah yes, my favorite season 1 character, Tim Reed 💀 and he's dating Joke Hamilton

-Hunter 💀 (Better ⬆️): His interactions with Lake are really cute. I'm so glad we don't see the 🚗 azar in him anymore! Now for him to win every single immunity once again 😂 Of course, the Huntessally dynamic is peak like always!

-Riya 🎭 (Same 🟰): She pretty much stayed the same person as in Last episode and Beta Episode 7, I hope you enjoyed her because next episode, her villain arc will be starting, slowly but surely

-Aiden 🧸 (Same 🟰): He sadly didn't do much this episode, though I loved how he was cheering for his Lake Bestie! Live laugh love Lakeden friendship! The Twink and the Red-head

-James 📱 (Better ⬆️): That Lakames (If we can call it that) interaction was everything, Some James lore already starting 😍 We learn more about the fact James has low self-esteem, feels inadequate and worthless, which is why he ultimately uses social media as a form of external validation. This temporarily makes him feel like he's worth something, but in the end, it only fuels his insecurity. Even though he believes that socializing online is the same as in real life, he still feels lonely and uncomfortable around people. I can relate to him NGL Not to mention that when Aiden said he would be his friend again, he was on the verge of crying, since Aiden is his first real genuine friend! I hope we'll be getting more of that!

My thoughts about episode 3 of Tomjake 2 🍉🍩!
THIS EPISODE MY GOD! I PROBABLY EXPRESSED MORE EMOTIONS THAN WHAT THE AVERAGE HUMAN CAN EXPRESS!

I'm still really happy Ashley is now doing more than well now that her farm is financially stable! Can't wait to see them at the wedding!

A potential Huntally Breakup? I honestly don't care that much about the ship but that would Technically make this the 3rd couple to break up, first one being Tomjake in S1 only and then Connoriya, I think it's too early to say that

Another ship has been destroyed, RIP Huntally and Shawncia shipper 😭 I didn't believe in that ship at first and this episode just confirmed it further more, we also got to learn some Lucia lore with her brother!

Now we enter Tom PTSD scene, Before talking about it, it's interesting that we had Mommy issues in episode 2, and now Daddy Issues in this episode, surprisingly characters follow some kind of pattern in resemblance (Tom and Jake are fiancés, Gabby and Grett are Besties and so are Tess and Ally) Okay let's get into it *Inhales and Exhales* Tom experiencing PTSD again NOOOO, That felt so real, I'm so impressed of how flawless PTSD is Portrayed here, I genuinely had to pause the vid cause I was lowkey panicking as well 😥 And Tess helping him OMG, what a queen she was in this episode, Please Tess become my Therapist, I BEG YOU 😭

Jake saying that that dress is too gay 😂 Yeah sure okay, though I love that since it adds more depth to the fact that Jake isn't the "Gay Girly Twink" stereotype that everyone thinks he is, Jake and Tomjake greetings are talking for me! I also loved that Tess and Ellie interaction

Amelie, Lopy and Opal OOMFS mentions! Poor Jake with Amelie taking his future client 😭 Come back Queen!

That Tomjake interaction is really cute, Literally just fiancés having fun and being dorky and silly 🥹 I love them so much (And yes, I chose that 6th pic on purpose 😏 Nothing's PG on my household 😂👹)

First appearance of Tony Reed!! Some people say that he's Yulden's kid and It makes me mad but I see it 👹😭 We better see Aiden and Tony together! Tom's little brothers!! His reactions are honestly understandable Tom didn't talk to him in ages

Poor Shawn humiliating himself 😭 "You're such a dick" "At least I don't eat' em" Oh god 💀

There's also the fact Tom and Tony are Stepbrothers, not even brothers, We heard them saying "My dad" separately, So Jackie and That Ryan winters Guy gave birth to Tom, then she divorced him and probably got married to another guy and gave birth to Tony with him.

Now time for THE reveal, The reveal that no one expected, I... Sadly got spoiled for that 😭 But my first reaction when seeing Dan was "TF?! DAN?! FUCKING DAN CARTER?! WHO TF INVITED HIM?!" Imagine you appear before Aiden AKA one of the most popular characters of S2, I'm sure the 4 or 5 Dans of the fandom are screaming

Last and least, we got... Darlene Hamilton appearance 🤬 BITCH WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN THIS DONUT PLACE, YOU FUCKING WITCH, BURN YOU WITCH. YOUR SON CLEARLY DOESN'T WANNA TALK TO YOU ANYMORE, DROP THE ACT WOMAN, YOU FUCKING LIED TO YOUR ESTRANGED SON THAT YOU ABUSED AND SAID THAT YOU ONLY HAD ONE SON PRETENDING TO BE INTERESTED IN HIS SERVICES ONLY TO GET IN CONTACT WITH HIM WHEN HES CLEARLY SCARED OF SEEING YOU AGAIN. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU WOMAN?? GO DIE! NOBODY WANTS TO SEE YOU

My ranking and thoughts about episode 5 and 6 of the S2 remake!

I loved the episodes though outside of some minor changes, it's literally the same but remastered (Congrats Adam, You just discovered the concept of a remake 😭) The episode 5 challenge remained the same with few changes, Tess didn't burn her meds, James didn't rename himself as "Manipulator whatever" also JAMES LOVES YUL AND HIS SPICY ABS 😂 Tess didn't lick Oliver's foot... We still had James running naked for the pleasure of the simps 😏 Fortunately they still kept the "You are worse than your father"
As for episode 6, the challenge is literally the same but the interactions are so much better, Ally winning an advantage is really interesting, considering the fact she's getting eliminated in episode 9, it's getting used in episode 7 or 8, NGL I can see a Tie challenge either between Tess and James or Lake and James or Riya

Now let's proceed with the contestants!

-Yul 🍄 (Better ⬆️): He became really enjoyable without his Racist and Homophobic jokes, Also some Yul lore!! It fits him so well that he knows about poisonous mushrooms, James was right, he is a cartoon villain

-HunTessAlly 🖌️🎮💀(Better ⬆️): Once again, Tess depression is handled so well! I loved the bonding she had with Ally and also the one with both Hunter and Ally in the cave, so much better than in the beta, Them winning the challenge was really not expected

-Lake 🏵️ (Better ⬆️) : More Lake lore!! I loved the bonding she had with Hunter, she's really playing the role of the Resurrection

-Rosa 🌷 (Same 🟰) : She looks so happy with her idol, oh she doesn't know what's coming 😭 Honestly outside of that, she remained the same like in the beta, only difference is her and Lake forgiving each other that's much better here

-Riya 🎭 (Same 🟰): She's the same as in the beta, nothing too special to say about her

-Jaiden 🧸📱 (Better ⬆️) : I LOVE THE NEW JAIDEN INTERACTIONS WE HAD IN THESE EPISODES! James saying that he doesn't want to eliminate Aiden because of views, while in reality, I think that Aiden is James' first genuine friend so he doesn't want him gone, remember that James' only friend growing up was his sister. Episode 6 was JAIDEN'S episode! The new interactions they had 😍 The height Difference teasing and the sexual Innuendo 😭😏 JAMES CALLING AIDEN SUNSHINE JUST LIKE IN THAT GREETING AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! Aiden wants that cookie so bad and so does James who want his Oreo so bad 🫦

Here's my top 10 of my favorite DVC characters in every seasons combined! (Shout out to ‪@purplerose244‬   For nominating me, also it was really hard to place them since I love all of them 😭)

1- Aiden Brooks 🧸❤️: One of the icons of Disventure Camp, what else to say for this amazing singer ! And for people thinking I love him only for his voice, even if Viester doesn't voice him anymore, I will still love him no matter what 🤩

2- Jacob "Jake" Hamilton 🍉🩷: For the old subs, remember when I used to hate him and TomJake in general for frankly the worst reasons 😭 Glad I matured up, learnt more about him thanks to many people and he became once again one of my Fav 🤩!

3- Diego Alfonso Olivo Mendoza 🥭🧡: I've loved him since the start of S4 and that's not ending anytime soon, he'll have to kill someone in order for me to hate him 😍

4- Benjamin "Benji" Hattori ⚖️🧡: The cringy and relatable king himself, I was so sad when I saw that Trinji greeting of him not being able to see Tristan due to his studies, HE HAS TO WIN S5!

5- Lake Müller 🏵️❤️: German Girl boss herself! I love that she's getting more moments with Aiden in the remake and I'm excited to see her back for S5 (he's called a Fan-favorite for a reason)

6- James Costa 📱💛: DVC and self-absorbed king! One of the most handsome DVC characters ever 🫦😍

7- Thomas "Tom" Reed 🍩💚: Such a silly guy, Poor Tom is sadly always getting mischaracterized, what matters is that I understand his character and I love him so much 😍

8- Amélie Pierre 💍🖤: A French Queen dans toute sa splendeur! (In all her splendor)🤩 Lowkey I really want her to Co-host the show with Emily

9- Tess Morgan 🖌️🖤: Such a queen she is! I'm glad her depression is better writing in this remake! It's unfortunate that she's not coming back in S5 instead of Ally but it's fine, she's getting focus in the Remake and TJ2 so I'm excited for that

10- Ashley Graham 👢💛: Last and certainly not least, Our favorite Cowgirl 🤩 The Farm episode really gave us more attention to her and especially to her boyfriend Will!

William "Will" Hughes 💪🏾💚: Last episode made him love him so much, more than I already do 😍

Rosa Maria Rivera 🌷💜: One of the best mothers of the show!

Tristan Vok 🦇💜: Such a Monarch they are! Truly one of the best S4 contestants, I chose Benji over Them because... That's BENJI COME ON!

Jade Tanko 🐢💚: The most deserving winner! She was so robbed !
