Well thanks @YouTube for screwing over creators again and ruining monetisation with this new update.

Money has never being the driving force behind my content. But I'm not a teenager anymore. I'm an adult and I need steady money coming in. Not peanuts thrown at me every so often. These updates are making things harder and harder to keep doing YouTube.

For those who don't know, soon Shortd creators will basically have to have thousands of watch hours and millions of views just to get any money now. I might not be focused on shorts but it's clogs up the whole app that actual videos get ignored and many small creators rely on shorts.

So yeah, no ones happy about this. Will YouTube listen or care? Pfft of course now. As long as they benefit they'll screw over the people who are bringing in the profit for them.
