This morning my uber went to the wrong pick up location, so I had to wait a couple of minutes for it to reroute.
Whilst I was waiting, a timid young boy, who looked 11 or so, approached me that his phone was about to die and asked if I could call his football coach who he had travelled over an hour to meet. So I did. It then turned out he had mistakenly arrived 2 hours early.
I managed to quickly sort out a location for him to wait and told the coach where to find him.
Iām grateful the āinconvenienceā of having to wait for my uber was an opportunity to be a helping hand to a young boy. I donāt think that was a coincidence. God wanted me there, so He could bring peace in a moment of panic.
Every moment births an opportunity for us to be the hands and feet of God and be a reminder to someone that God cares for them.
I like traditional church buildings. I like the fact you can tell it is a place of worship from a distance. People know where they can go to when in need of help and hope.
