The mountains didn't care about my exhaustion. Neither did he. He just walked up, looked me in the eye, and stayed. That's what caregiving does to you after a while — you forget what it feels like when something simply shows up without being asked. Your support did that for me. Every comment, every share, every person who paused their own tired day to say I see what you're doing — I felt it. More than you know. This moment is ridiculous and beautiful and I wouldn't trade it.
