I am angry. And I think every American who loves God and this country should be too.
Charlie Kirk’s death is not just a tragedy — it’s an outrage. Charlie Kirk was a husband. A father. A man who loved his family. And he was murdered in front of them. That is pure evil. It is not justice. It is not protest. It is sin, plain and simple. And as we remember 9/11, we’re reminded again of what happens when hatred and evil are allowed to fester. These acts do NOT represent the Bible, and they do NOT represent what America stands for. The Bible is clear: “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13). Life is sacred. God created us in His image (Genesis 1:27), and no ideology, no grievance, no political agenda gives anyone the right to destroy a life. And America? Our Constitution was written to protect life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It guarantees freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the rule of law. And a man was shot for respectfully practicing these. What does that show for the freedom so many have fought and died for? Violence in the streets, terrorism in our skies, or political murder is a betrayal of everything America was founded upon. I don’t care what side you are on, death and murder is NEVER ok. Especially to a good man. Jesus said, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined” (Matthew 12:25). If we keep letting hatred divide us, if we stay silent while violence takes the place of debate, then we are tearing apart both our nation and our witness as believers. This is not the America I know. This is not the Gospel I follow. So yes, I’m angry. Angry at the evil that took Charlie Kirks life. Angry at the hatred that caused 9/11. But more than that, I am determined. Determined to stand for truth. Determined to speak boldly about what the Bible says. Determined to defend the freedoms that our Constitution guarantees. Our nation needs to stand up, draw closer to Jesus Christ than ever, and fight this. Because light only shines when we refuse to let the darkness win.
